QUOTE(Lurker @ Jul 16 2013, 12:29 PM) is there is place to check the exchange rate charged by this card at the time of transaction? especially for online purchase. tq http://www.ocbc.com.my/business-banking/Fo...ange-rates.htmlThis is the Ocbc website on the exchange rate and it is changing, at least sometimes the morning rate and afternoon rate is different. But I am not sure Ocbc is using the same exchange rate for credit card transaction. You can probably try out by noting the excahnge rate, then perform on line transaction, after a few days, compare the exchange rate used.

(MCC code: 5968) 3. Use ipay88 to buy coupon at livingsocial website. (MCC code: 4816) Please share on Elken service. They always come to the house and service. How did you manage to pay by card?

QUOTE(ronnie @ Jul 28 2013, 11:23 AM) Payment utility bills via OCBC Online Banking Portal using your OCBC Titanium MasterCard will get 5% cash back. Those lists are "confirmed" to get 5%. A member reported Elken water filter service is 5% and captured in your list. Wonder which Elken service accept credit card. In Penang, only cash payment for services and even for buying filter parts which can cost up RM500+

QUOTE(LoveMeNot @ Jul 31 2013, 07:42 AM) Honestly, why do you want so many cards? Don't you find it bothersome? I have 6 from 5 banks and I'm already kinda bothered by it (paying for the GST). If I can cancel 3 of it I even would but I can't due to ez payment commitment. I have various cards and not paying for the tax except UOB one card. Some banks want to charge the government tax and I just told them cancel the card. A few days later, bank called up and asked for reasons. I told them do not want to pay tax, the bank staff said can waive.

Balance RM 8, why RM 8 not shown in statement ?? (2) what happen if we paying CC on DD, but the transaction only appear the next business day? any interest/late payment will be charges? (2) Ocbc, Citi banks and most likely other banks allow 1-2 days after DD without charging late payment...

QUOTE(tnix @ Aug 4 2013, 10:16 AM) yes, will show Overpaid RM 8.00, but not printed in current statement right? so every time customer paid extra, we need to calculate manually for next actual mount on DD. am i right ? Next month statement will capture overpaid amount and thus no need to calculate manually actual amount to be paid...

QUOTE(pinksapphire @ Aug 16 2013, 04:57 PM) I'm currently on auto pay for TM point (but not on my card) and we get the RM2 rebates. Just to confirm, if I switch it over to OCBC card for auto pay, I should still get 5% rebate for my card and separate RM2 from TM right? Your currently auto pay for TM point means you have signed up with TM to auto debit your Ocbc card? ....switch over to Ocbc for auto pay means you sign up auto pay at Ocbc instead of TM ? I doubt you will get the RM2 from TM...or someone can clarify this?

QUOTE(kazel87 @ Aug 17 2013, 11:15 PM) While its true that in general, utilities, dining and petrol offers 5% cash rebate, not all dining places offer 5%, as evidenced on the first page. So I was just sharing, in case some card holders might wanna know. Apreciate your detail reports on 1 and 5%. You are right that not all dining places give 5% thus it is beneficail to members here.

QUOTE(avengers88 @ Aug 20 2013, 02:11 PM) how long will it normally take ? Can I call CS to cancel and I go maxis to pay ? Since I need to use the phone . It takes 2-3 working days to reach Maxis. If the amount is not big and not affecting your rebate 50 plan, just do nothing on Ocbc payment and go to Maxis to pay direct or call Maxis pay direct through phone quoting your Ti CC

QUOTE(venicelim @ Aug 21 2013, 11:06 AM) if you are under clause b(ii), it means you are not eligible for the rebate even though you received the sms. Clause b(ii) means 3months before you received the sms, you have already paid any bill via OCBC online banking. This indirectly means you are sort of not new to the online banking to pay bill, so you are not entitled to the cash rebate. Thanks..miss out the wording shall NOT

QUOTE(mustang @ Aug 28 2013, 02:42 PM) What I meant is, the interest will be charged in your total amount and divided by x number of months For my case RM9000 + 3% = RM9270 Monthly repayment: RM772.50 How much interest will be able to offset if you are planning to use that to reduce your housing loan amount? 1.5% ? Use Excel and calculate what is the total sum if you "save" 772.5 per month..assume interest rate is 2.5%.. Month 1 772.5 Month 2 772.5 + (772.5*0.025/12) Month 3 772.5*2 + { ()+772.5+772.5} *0.025/12} .....till month6...the interest you paid will be roughly 303.6 or 3.37%
