Yes I can.
Can enlighten me which 1 is the stock ROM as mine is an AP set Im not sure if the 1 i downloaded is stock or not.

I downloaded the ROMs frm Sammobile, nt sure if its stock but the Odin shows that it fails to flash in.  In fact I tried different ROM, both stock (if what I downloaded frm Sammobile is stock) and none, all cant flash in.

Can my phone be saved? sad.gif

Try looking for clues from your phone box and instructions manual..
Maybe you can get an idea of the country code..

Hope this helps

ondemand. no time to flash thunderbolt yet. getting frustrated phone keep freezing and heating up shakehead.gif

Hmm, sometimes the governor/scheduler doesn't get applied correctly. You'll need to check /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq to see that it is actually on ondemand.

Also, don't install any undervolting/governor/scheduler tweaking app like SetCPU or it won't get applied correctly.

s4 perhaps
Yes. I'm looking forward to S4 and very most likely will purchase it (unless the specs are only so-so or there are other better phones then). I could be landing Note2 or Note3, perhaps. laugh.gif Anyway, still looking around and reading news and rumours.

Just FYI there are no google apps or framework on china roms (as google is banned there)

Yeay !! My S2 came back to live ! LOL
Thanks Gin&Tonic for recommending the firmware ! Feels like a Russian now.

So, another question, wondering if you all can help too?
After flashed the firmware, my device is unrooted, but the problem of no lock screen nor the power options still there. I created the "keystr" with ON edited previously which I believe still there as the apps I downloaded and used are still here with me.

Any idea how to solve this problem? thanks alot in advance. smile.gif

Update:
I solved the problem already by giving permission of R/W to all Owner, Group and Others of the file.
