Guys, what is the most stable custom ICS rom for S II non-G?

Tried looking for a stable CM9, but in CyanogenMod, Stable CM9 is only available for I9100G.

Jelly Bean 4.1.2 (Omega v20) battery consumption is too high.
So thought of going back to ICS.
But I've never flashed Custom ICS on my girlfriend's SII.

Need some input.

Strange my batt life with Omega v20 is not bad. Maybe u need to freeze/uninstall bloatwares. U can try Rootbox.
According to mafioso he can get just under 5hrs SOT. Really super amazing.

I m curious to know, is it a must to wipe data/factory reset and format/system when we want to flash a custom rom? What happens if i don't want to do it and just flash the custom rom instead? Will it affect anything?

Most of the time u will get bootloop/freezes/FC and so on. Its advisable to do full wipe when flashing. Why take risk?

Just asking biggrin.gif . So that means i need to back up the data before flashing custom rom. I afraid all my data for games lost. Titanium Backup will help then tongue.gif. Thanks for your response.

I did.
When installing the ROM, I didn't install anything that my girlfriend doesn't use.

So, what's the most stable custom ICS ROM for Galaxy S II non-G? smile.gif

Hi guys,

Just got a second hand GS2 to play with. I'm looking for an all in one ROM, so far I've narrowed it down to Rootbox or Pacman, or do you guys have any suggestions?

after trying pacman latest version last 2 days,
stil not stable enuff as my Omega rom.
with its annoying bottom placed pie also.
if can fix it by setting to right border or just removed it altogether shud make it better.
( btw im always have LMT on my sammy rom coz its make my life easier)

so i think better choose other rom.
even the newest XOS rom there more stable vs Pacman
and still..

Thanks! Looks I have a few more to test around. My intention is to find a keeper, can't be trying out new stuff all the time as it will be a daily user as well, but definitely there needs to be some trial and error before finding the right one.

You must perform a Nandroid backup first. If you don't do so, all your files will be gone from your phone.

all file, data, setting and etc in phone will be deleted when you update your phone using odin. to keep it from lost, do nandroid backup for your whole system(useful when u want revert to ics) and TiBa for apps and apps data. Data or file in SD will not touched.
