I have an average hand but note 1 is quite hard to use with 1 hand. S3 is still the best size  thumbup.gif

Tbat's why i still kept my S3 although i have Note2. I use my S3 for my daily phone and i find the size 4.7" will be the maximum for one hand usage. Then i bought HOX+ but though the screen size was the same..i feel the phone is wider than S3.
Trade it for Butterfly and though the screen is bigger than HOX+ or the S3..the phone width feel quite the same when holding in hand. It just stand taller than S3. Quite acceptable for daily use.
Until...One emerge with its 4.7" screen plus a monster processor. Really tempted to have one but i'll wait for S4 first to see how its specs goes.

To tell you the truth, the SIII was honestly not the best of the bunch last year. Of course it was darn good, but many of the competitors were really good last year.

Unlike the SII which completely balled the other competitors the previous year.

I hope the S IV's rumour of OCTA core will be true. I saw in some rumour mills, there'll be 8 cores for CPU and GPU as well. THat'll be really the first. Maybe instead of 2 GB of ram, make it 4. hehehehe

Then it'll really bomb the other competitors. 4 GB RAM maybe long shot la... but the octa core sounds very plausible

S3 not the best bunch last year..? rclxub.gif
It's the most selling phones of the year (2012 till now)

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_bes...g_mobile_phones

Look at the 2012 from the link above and you'll find that S3 selling more than 80 millions compared to second place (fruit5) selling at 50 millions.

@ivanchingkl

what you mean by wipe cache partition? any guides on this? notworthy.gif
*
Factory reset will erase all data but remain the firmware version.
E.g. if u r in version 4.1.2 now, after factory reset will remain 4.1.2, no more upgrade

Wipe cache partition will erase cache only without affect ur data/apps in your phone
1. shut off ur phone
2. pressing power + volume up + home button
3. choose wipe cache partition (by using volume up down key, power button to select)
4. choose restart

Well, you're arguing that it's the best SELLING phone which I have to agree. That's just statistically putting it.

Which if you asked me, due to it riding high on the FANTASTIC performance of the SII, many (including myself) went on to buy the SIII automatically thinking it'll completely screw up all other phones that will come out last year.

What I mean is in the performance of the phone and I feel now that after buying the S III, I think quite a number of phones out there are quite competitive to it (not necessarily ALL beating it).... and I'm just comparing it to the other androids. Not the iPhone.

Well, just what I feel

I agree with both of you, I am not so keen on too big screen. But on my mind it should at least be at 5" same as the butterfly. Big and it feels good in the hand. Once you're at 4.8", although it is only 0.1" diff.. you will feel it somehow smaller.. tongue.gif

Yes..you can use custom kernel with stock rom. But make sure the custom kernel meant for the LTE version.
Go search at xda under GT-I9305 development section.

Duhh..you want to install CWM or you want to flash custom kernel..!?? rclxub.gif
Anyway..for .tar files..you can use MobileOdin
For flashable zip files you need to use CWM.
And for those two files..it must be for your LTE version and not the international GT-I9300 version. Otherwise you may bricked your phone tongue.gif

If the CWM comes with .tar files then yes..you can flash it via MobileOdin. Btw..where did you got that CWM files.? I believe it comes with instruction on how to flash it correctly. Just follow each steps and you'll be fine tongue.gif

Duhh..why so scared..? doh.gif
From the images it seems that your MobikeOdin correctly detect the CWM .tar files into its recovery section. All you had to do is flash it then wait for reboot..that's all.
It just as important that the files was meant for LTE CWM recovery.
