I extract in my PC and copy to phone... so far so good..

Friend of mine finding for a new phone but he got budget around RM1500 only..worth to get S3 now since S4 already announced? Or better to wait for S4/buy lower range model( he also aiming Sony TX)

Try open it with root explorer. Work for me.

and transfer the picture to phone is working
if download + extract using phone and open the picture, showing unable to find item

later I try, previously using ES file explorer
will try using solid explorer

hahaha... last time screen cracked, replacement cost not more than rm600... this time i was playing with my phone while i'm in the toilet... then i accidentally fall on the floor... just 10 cm height... the rear side on the top cracked.. sakit hati

Mind to take a picture and post it here? Can't really know what type of damage you faced. Rear means behind of the phone. So is it the back cover crack or what? But then you said screen cracked Thats why its best if you can post the picture so that I can answer accordingly

Be thankfull it's plastic.
Imagine you crack the back glass (Xperia Z) or dent you aluminum (HTC One). Try to replace that
Then you will cry much harder and longer...lolz
