weak 3G signal? like 0-1/2 bars?

2nd day test my battery 3hr 15min on screen, will uninstall juice defender now and see how it goes ,will update here tomorrow

no wifi since saturday and sunday (i wifi office hr only)..
all my 3hr 15min is on 3g/edge radio, now testing without the juice defender apps, see how its going, also i just uninstall wifi-fixer, hope 4.2.2 solved the wifi issue they had on 4.2.1

Anyway, it look like this is the culprit of your poor battery:

Looks really bad. Try this:

1. Dial *#*#4636#*#*
2. In the WCDMA preferred, change to WCDMA only

What it does is to fix it so that your phone dont change signal between Edge and 3G. Most phone automatically change to Edge when 3G signal become poor. This got nothing to do with the phone, but your telco signal and your location.

The WCDMA only will stop the phone from changing to Edge.

my battery today , i think its normal 3hr 10min for on screen

Data also consume lots of battery, depends on signal in your area, low signal = high drain in battery

previously i think other talked about your poor signal tat appeared in the BBS dump file.. i experienced that too.

you can't do much.

1. change telco
2. set the phone to receive 3g signal ONLY
3. set the phone to receive 2g signal ONLY

On screen for 1h 10min only and my battery left 58%.
Brightness I set it to auto all the time and data plan on for 24/7.
Can anyone know why my battery can't last long.

erm i am not sure why become like that since many good feedback for 4.2.2 on the battery life span.

I think if you wan to let people help here.
1. Please get the battery logs with some details apps such as BetterBatteryStats. Then dump the logs here. Let's see what is the wakelock exist. Because we don't know where are going wrong if simply state the SOT only.

2. Simple way, when you are free to test, Please force stop all the background running apps such as whatapps, facebook and etc. Because such apps are keep running on the background to poll the services. After force close, please test whether it had been better. Remember that, battery consumption still depends on user's usage. So it is still better to get the battery stat^^

3. The data signal changing also cause battery leaks. Weak signal area will cause more battery lost because it keep searching and changing the signal state until the stable signal. So if u want, u can manually set to 2g network only when u are under weak signal area
