Enter service menu via emergency dialer
Go to service test, then "display" You can access the recent apps menu, and briefly launch the apps from there. The phone will lock back after a few seconds. |

Expect ours to be updated within these 1-2 days! If you cant wait, grab the ftf file and flash via flashtool. Dont forget to backup your files. SCRATCH THAT, ITS LIVE NOW !! Launch your Sony PC Companion and start updating folks! For those who has already update, dont forget to report back with whatever bugs you may encounter. Thanks! QUOTE(demio121 @ Mar 28 2013, 03:58 PM) my brief 30min on sony JB: well, i'm definitely gonna annoy the shit out of my dad who has an S3 I didnt manage to try the ICS cuz when i got the phone, i didnt use it until this mornign when i wanna flash and saw JB coming. updated now. its pretty close to stock JB. my Desire is running CM10. Sony JB so far is not as bloated as Samsung. one thing i notice missing is "actionable notification". i read this morning, this is part of Sony JB rollout but its not there. I dun like Samsung ROM cuz its really really bloated with.... bloatware but some of the things they do are pretty useful. for instance, brightness control in notification. i can't find it here in my TX. The interface feel fluid. can't compare with the previous ICS but feel more responsive than my S3 (i blame all the bloatware there). flipping thru the menu, one thing is evident, if your firmware is light and thin, you don't need so many core. my desire on 500MB RAM is pretty smooth. TX on dual core is more responsive than my S3. QUOTE(WhiteWing @ Mar 28 2013, 03:59 PM) wait around 10-20 min and see. mine also went through the same process earlier. |
