How hard is it to root?  I've read some instructions and it seems like a PITA.  Anybody done it?

dude. i never on those lock screen security stuff. the screen just stay pitch black no matter how hard i swipe the screen or even holding the power button forever.

can i know the diffrent between firmware version b and c??is it version c is not ori set or what?hurm..confuse...

ok thks.  just got my white TX a few hours ago.  itching to root and flash now.

i am using S3 now.  TX is juz a hobby.  i used to hv htc desire and CM ROM is just sweet.  S3 is hardware awesome but bloatware dissapointing.

i'm gotta flash to FXP212 (CM10).  searching for CM10.1 but can't find any for LT29i.

my pc companion keep telling me there is an update but when i hit on the update button, nothing happen.  i plug the USB cable, restart my phone, restart PC Comp but i still get the same result.

dunno what is happening here. no status/progress bar.  just a blank white screen.

my brief 30min on sony JB:

I didnt manage to try the ICS cuz when i got the phone, i didnt use it until this mornign when i wanna flash and saw JB coming.  updated now.

its pretty close to stock JB.  my Desire is running CM10.  Sony JB so far is not as bloated as Samsung.  one thing i notice missing is "actionable notification".  i read this morning, this is part of Sony JB rollout but its not there.

I dun like Samsung ROM cuz its really really bloated with.... bloatware but some of the things they do are pretty useful.  for instance, brightness control in notification.  i can't find it here in my TX.

The interface feel fluid.  can't compare with the previous ICS but feel more responsive than my S3 (i blame all the bloatware there).

flipping thru the menu, one thing is evident, if your firmware is light and thin, you don't need so many core.  my desire on 500MB RAM is pretty smooth.  TX on dual core is more responsive than my S3.

Really ? Need to wait for how long ?
