Hello everyone, new Sony Xperia tx user here, just sold my lg Optimus 4x and buy this phone. biggrin.gif  And yeah, I have type b touch screen  thumbup.gif  , the display is very good with good viewing angle and i notice it is on par with lg Optimus 4x ips display. I'm quite amaze with Sony can produce such a good display without using ips technology. Good job!
Btw, I notice the dial pad sound is very low, how can I increase the volume?

Why change from a quad core to a dual core? hmm.gif

Because i think dual core is enough for my use, and the snapdragon s4 is a dual core beast, quadrant score is higher than tegra 3. Plus sony have alot more to offer: xloud, clear audio, 13mp camera, and most importantly the design. biggrin.gif  Lg optimus 4x sound quality is awful, cant stand with it when listening music. cry.gif

hmm.gif

If you do update your TX to that latest firmware please let us know what does it improve biggrin.gif

Not much different, only difference is sony lag when installing apps, while lg is smooth when installing apps.
i straight away update my TX to lastest firmware, so i dont know how it perform in ics 4.0. I get 6000 in quadrant and its shock me.  shocking.gif  haha.

But antutu only ~11k-ish

My tablet can score ~17-18k....

Wow, its so cheap(i just seach that on lowyat). biggrin.gif
Btw, i notice the antutu graphic score on TX is higher than optimus 4x, which is a shame since tegra 3 should be a gaming phone.
*
Gaming on the TX? Too hot.

I too lazy to update at the moment. Current .411 i already flashed deodex ROM, added volume wake, rooted, unlocked bootloader.

Gaming on optimus 4x is hot too and what worse is the cpu and gpu will auto underclock when the phone overheat(to prevent more heat) and then the game will start lag.

Thats bad laugh.gif

Why not the ZL?

According to 3d mark for android XSP outscored XZ....now TAKE THAT for a JUST being DUAL CORE....hahaha flex.gif
*
Its still benchmarks only. Real world test is where the core counts flex.gif

Quad cores can render webpages faster than dual core
