That being said, for the first post, need to rearrange the information there and put some emphasis on the important part and what to read. I would suggest to put the FAQ in first post. The 3DS general information can be put in second or third. Maybe even inside the FAQ itself. Make it really prominent, like "USER GUIDE: Must read." or something. I almost missed the FAQ part when I first read it.

wta, is games with mark "3DS" not playable on DS? hence 3DS game is for 3DS console only n same to DS?
not really familiar with nintendo DS family. seems like DS game can be player with 3DS but not vice-versa, correct? hence it is more viable to get 3DS instead.

not really accurate example in case you are not familiar with nintendo gaming device old handhone = you can make call and send sms new smartphone = you can make call and send sms and also at the same time surf internet and play games which old hand phone cannot do.

Can I ask if I set my e-shop country to US (Alaska), can I set my console country to MY ? I worry if I set my console country to Malaysia I cant access the e-shop lol
you can switch region when need to purchase games from eshop and then switch back to my if that's what u want.
I was looking for a more 'official' or rather, reputable sources. All the links are mostly saying like it does not exists, or it was already patched.
Some even said it is still there. That is why I'm not sure about which to refer.
I myself change the battery for my 3ds and having no problem streetpass with others street pass with plenty of people before change and still streetpassing them too..

1. better purchase a local adapter(if anyone is selling it) and a usb charger from daiso 2. You can change ur region anytime u want.
Oh god, just realised that my AR card is missing. Don't know where I misplaced it, last time it was in my console casing.
Don't know what the purpose also except for playing the built in AR game, which is in my opinion is quite nice and unique.
Is there any other use of those original AR card? Like maybe some game need that particular card to play? Where to find a replacement? Whole pack went missing.Â
just got 5 Streetpass walking around Mid valley just for an hour, first time getting that much streetpass guess there's more of 3ds users now in malaysia compare to last month or 2...

US set = ASI set Restriction of US set - cannot play games from Japan and games from pal region - need to get a local power adapter - warranty issue 3DS no international warranty..
Let me tell you something and dun tell anyone... The ability to Purchasing Eshop game in US Eshop is a concern of most Malaysian 3DS user if not all. It's not like Ace Attorney 5 is the only game out in eshop and no body try to purchase game in eshop.
Yeah. Plenty of people successfully purchasing game in US Nintendo Eshop. Just reload yourself with some NINTENDO ESHOP Cash Code and wait for Ace Attorney to release and you can immediately purchase the game.
Attack of a the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale is a great game! I shouldn't call it a game but it's more like a story which is great! A slice of life of a small boy in an epic Ultraman kind of environment. The OST is great and the art style is something like Studio Ghibli. Those who love anime will love it especially those who are into slice of life. The game is a bit expensive considering I only finish it in 3 hours but I'd say it is a must have 3DS title.
totally not recommend to get at full price.. I got mine for half price
