3ds ll is 3ds xl in japanese

Format System Memory = reset to factory setting.

from the video... i think you 3dsxl touch screen is perfectly fine
when you cannot poke into the screen that's when you need to start worry about sending it to repair

step down converter is too over kill just get an usb charging cable

I am assuming you have a US set
First of all change the country of your 3ds to US
Pick a state without tax
Then follow the step on 3ds

go to your club nintendo account.. you will be able to see every registered product there.. if it's there that mean u are eligible

you can set to whatever state in canada as you want it's does not matter much

pokemon save is store in game cart.. the save can be reset with button combination

eshop got those app but i never buy any of them .. perhaps he wanna pretend using e-dictionary when mother check on him

not really.. i think because club nintendo is not required in order to make purchase in eshop...
for NNID i am not sure ...
the only way to remove nnid for 3ds is perform a system reset which will remove everything and there will be no way to recover ur eshop purchase

got some question
u mention before your 3ds can be switch to canada region so i assume that your 3ds is US region.. can confirm your 3ds region?
so what region is that game you bought in local store?
did the pokemon show up after you insert the game into your 3ds?

it's not often but still there's is once awhile u get the game for free.. u just need to be alert ...

because of those price never drop u can enjoy selling game after u play with a good price which you liking it...
and now it's not okay to not price drop because it's not like steam or psn

nintendo not dropping the price because those game can sell i dont see nintendo wanna cut their own profit

1 game sell for 40 dollar

1 game sell for 20 dollar

having a sales will mean need to sell more amount for the same profit ...

that's just your assumption ... it is not for certain that 5 extra people will come out of no where and start buying nintendo games ...
that 5 people might also buy the game at full price when they know that nintendo ain't gonna give discount
if nintendo start a trend more and more people will rather wait for the discount first then only they buy it.. that is already a lost

nintendo have few of the highest amount of games that has been sell ..
there is no guarantee that nintendo will sell 1 times more on what they are selling now and u expect nintendo to get 5 times more.

it has always been nintendo tradition for keeping the price steady... in fact u can still sell mario kart ds selling at original price ... early adopter will know that there's no point of waiting just get the game as soon as possible

get all those level 5 guild01 and guild02 games if u haven't yet... If u like rhythm games get harmo knight if u haven't yet... Mario vs donkey kong mini on the move get it if u haven't ..

system transfer will do..

if u don't system transfer that nnid can only be use back at the same 3ds.. system transfer is a must if u wanna keep everything or u can just deleted that nnid lose everything and register that nnid at your new 3ds
