What kind of bank doesn't give statement for savings account???

somemore in online banking, only 1 month statement shown???

HLB does suck at everything. Collection department very efficient. Late 1 day, straight away harass u daily. When need service, they don't bother to call back or offer solution. Worthless bank. Gotten worse after merging with EON. Maybe they inherited all the parasites from them?

there are alot of things going on inside which i can't reveal much over public forum. But all i can is that why 1 month is because of cost factor.

When EON Bank by itself, it is good, especially the call service.

Now merge with hong leong bank, it sucks. Wanted to change bank already, but bonded with the installment for 24 months when using eon just before they merge. O_O

How? Savings account? U know i thought only online don't have, but when i went to the bank just now, they told me savings account don't have statement, only can print on passbook.

i spent 9 months to claim back my credit card so called "late charges" when eon convert to hlb and they didn't do shiet until i file a report to Bank Negara, after that still ask me to upgrade their card, i cancel right away and yet they have thick faces, keep calling me for their others offer.

Hong Leong does have online statement, but not for saving account. the transaction history is only previous month. the rest they clear out.

My aunty used to be eon customer, but after merger she complain about hong leong service each time come back from their branch eg - ask about product information, they reply dont know, queue for hours for banking services(less than 5 customers).

online banking for savings can only view up to 2 months i think. people need 3 months statement usually for cc or hire purchase loans.

they only have statements for current accounts. I went to HLB to request for statement 3 months they save dont have, u can only bring passbook and they will update. The only thing is, I never update my passbook before. So i went home , took my passbook bring it over to the person and walla!

I thought they will update month by month and since i last use the book in 2011, I would imagine the page to filled up almost to the max with all the transactions over the years. But guess what? Its only 1 page update! the only detailed updates were given for june 2013, the rest all they lump sum..

not really helping there..

So the person is also baffled by the statement and tells me to talk to the manager. The manager then shows a face like " who asked for bank statements anymore " kind of look, and ask me to fill up a form to request for a statement and when it is ready they will notify me.

have to get it printed from their centre (branch cannot print). have to wait 7 days at least.

rm10 per request, rm2 per page. so 10+2(n)

my CIMB account created at KLCC also i can walk into Ampang branch CIMB and my request for 3 months bank statement is only RM1 and I get it instantly printed, chopped and signed by the officer.

cimb bank also same what...less than 20 transactions per month no e-statement...can print on passbook...
nowadays still got use passbook? all using online ady...i dont touch passbook since diploma...about 6 years ago..
now savings account, credit card, all thru online banking, even though bank still insists sending me paper statements, which i recycle if i rajin, or throw away if lazy...

then u ask the manager, u apply house loan, car loan, credit card or not....no need bank statements? to the max...
if bank dont require us to get bank statement, we also wont ask for it right...no brainer manager...

Luckily my EON only left RM 3k debt. Going to pay off and cancel the card. Can't stand the harassment daily. Some even challenge into report to BN. Collection agency full of gangsters.
