Uncle benny recommends wifi file explorer, or you can download ES File Explorer that has some wifi access option, although I haven't tried that. Any wifi access file manager should serve the purpose.

any idea ? don't know what to do at all @@

Settings>Remote Settings> tick Remote Manage although you would need to play around a bit. Haven't used it before. Your phone becomes an FTP server.

Nice !! thumbup.gif posted on #1

So, as we have all found out on this forum after months of ownership, it's still a fantastic device holding its own against all current newcomers. On top of that, no complaints about the device excluding some bad hardware which happens to any brand, and the occasional bootloop due to bad flashing laugh.gif

GXFC !!

All,

I have added a number of good youtube videos on post #2 that explain ALL features of the note, including a very in-depth review of all the settings, as well as a 55min review.

If any want to propose additional youtube videos, please provide a short description of what it is instead of just the link for faster processing smile.gif

this is sadly the state of affairs in the real world. otherwise how could sony and crapple flog their new shiny.

I would be really curious about sony's "innovation" for saving battery in the xperia z, whether it's real or just a renamed airplane mode laugh.gif . I find it hard to read that thread due to the characters there.

Not airplane mode. Call and msg still can get thru. Only all those background data gathering process got blocked.
Good idea..wish Samsung use that in their upcoming phones.
*
then it's equivalent to turning off data and sync? btw haven't seen you in awhile, welcome back.

Wow. RM700? Didn't realise it would be that expensive.
How long would it take to repair?

Was your phone naked when you dropped it? Or was it in some kind of slim flip case with exposed top and bottom?

I updated page 1 and made some reorganization. Perhaps v18 will see some more changes after I come to grips with how to organize the first page.

Many of your contributions have been put up.

Xperia Z video shoot vs Note 2 vs Nexus 4, what do you guys think?

The Sony Z sensor is clearly superior. Something for Samsung to top in the next Note smile.gif

Competition within the ecosystem is good, unlike the other well-known platform which is a jail whistling.gif

Now I think the key question being asked is "how much is the Xperia Z". Last I checked it was expected to be RM2499 in our neighbour thread. I wonder if Sony can pull it off considering that the top idevice goes for 2199.

It shouldn't. Just slightly slower charging.

whats the advantage of nova compared to apex?
*
Coz we got it during the $0.99 sale? laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Launchers are quite costly, usually >$3.00+ , and there was a sale of Nova last year and I got it at the time, so switched from Apex to Nova since.

[App] Fast File Transfer - The WiFi Direct For The Rest Of Us

Fast File Transfer is a free Android app that uses WiFi tethering for file transfers between two devices.
This technology allows for speeds of more than 32 Mbit/s, which means e.g. 1 Gigabyte in under 5 minutes.
The app has received an update recently and now allows to display QR codes for easier setting up the receiving device.
