Good point. I recall some of your first posts. It came at a time when over the whole day people had been asking the same question, so you had a bad reception

However, some simple sanity checking on Google is definitely educational. Furthermore a lot of basic information was missing from the first page before. That's hopefully fixed moving forward. Nonetheless, it is still a good practice to lurk in a forum before you start posting. If you did this in xda, you would have gotten the same cold shoulder or even worse; there are some devs/forumers there who will flame noobs asking repetitive questions.

Note that now, forum rule 9 does state to read the first 10 pages and last 10 pages before posting for the first time. That should give anyone a good feel of the contemporary issues in the forum.

The point is, we were all noobs once upon a time. Getting to a higher level involves time and effort. We will not flame you if your post is asking for help when your flashing has gone wrong, or if you find a genuine problem, or want to share an interesting article/link/app/development, or if you are polite and ask nicely.

We have flamed those who ask the bleedin' obvious, like, what's the latest firmware, where can I get x rom, what's the latest price, or the best ones are "I'm lazy to search, please tell me x".

Again, this is not about being snobs, but rather, this is very basic information that can be picked up all over the place. For my part, I will make changes to the page 1 structure to improve the introduction to this wonderful beast of a machine we own, and hope to make a meaningful contribution to the forum and thread.

However I cannot do this all by myself and all your help is appreciated. Contributions will always be credited.

Uh, you seem to be the first major EFS disaster here. Try download mode and use PC Odin first? If you can't even get into download mode, then SC won't be able to see your booboo either.

Can you go into the stock recovery and perform a fullwipe from there first, then try a reflash? If not then I don't know what other options you have.

Perhaps a forced brick is now your best option?

I'm saying flash in 4.1.1 and cause a hard brick. Then you can go to SC nicely and say SDS or something like that without needing to pay.
