QUOTE(swks26 @ May 26 2014, 09:50 PM) I might go. Quick question, I'm currently on cutting phase. I noticed the decreased in strength when I bench. However, my curls and the rest are doing fine. Able to increase 1RM every week or 2. Is this due to the carbs intake? I think I might increase it for chest day. This post has been edited by Miracles: May 26 2014, 10:41 PM |

QUOTE(zeronova @ Jun 21 2014, 04:59 PM) anyone here prefers lifting without shoes on? as in barefoot, I need advice on how to convince a person that barefoot lifting is safe. I've been approached by the manager of the gym several times saying I should wear shoes while in the gym, because he said if the weight drops on my feet it will hurt less (the hell?) and it will be safer that way. I tried reasoning with him saying I prefer barefoot lifting as it gives me more stability when I lift but he always give the same reason as to why I should wear shoes while in the gym. maybe get some flat sole shoes or oly shoes? :0 |

QUOTE(blaze91 @ Oct 24 2014, 11:04 PM) Perhaps maybe u can recommend supplement type and brand. As im very sure i dont have to take mass gainer so narrowed down to whey protein. But Im unsure on which product to go for. For whey protein, fav ones are:1) Optimum Nutrition 2) Dymatize (cheaper than ON) |

QUOTE(janson_kaniaz @ Aug 20 2015, 06:52 AM) I agree with this. Reminds me of a gym.Was looking for a gym months ago and found a quite famous ghetto gym. After looking around, I asked the owner, "where do you guys squat and deadlift?" He pointed to the smith machine. We use that bcos it's dangerous to squat using free weight. The gym has no power rack and not even a space for any deadlifts, barbell rows etc. I just can't brain how come there are so many buff dudes train there and able to gainz. Mr. <district> used to train here tho. |

QUOTE(Lionel90 @ Aug 29 2016, 04:17 PM) Is it a problem for long term wellbeing if my left knee hurts, supposedly from squat? How's your form?Dont really feel it when performing squat, perhaps too focused, but when squatting for daily normal activities will feel it. My interior hip muscle (close to the genitals, not sure about which part of the muscle really) also never seem to recover, flexibility issue? FYI, using SL5x5 and currently squat 57.5kg (exclusive of bar; personal best, sorry for being a noob) at 63kg |

QUOTE(hikaru85 @ Dec 14 2016, 12:58 PM) Just wondering if anyone experience this as well. You workout at night?I am not much sleeper during weekdays. Normally only manage to sleep 6 hours before going out to work. After workout 4 month, i start to sleep even lesser. Lately only manage to sleep 4 hours. Will auto wake up @ 3 to 4 am and not able to sleep back. I didn't eat anything before sleep, or take any whey protein (casein). Any idea? |

QUOTE(ZforZebra @ May 28 2017, 03:02 PM) Guys, Do you deload?do u feel sore on your lower back after u do deadlift? ive been lifting for 5 yrs + and recently i cant help but noticing my lower back is getting very sore lately after doing deadlift or racklift. ive been maintaining 5x5 for quite awhile and when i start to drop my body weight about 4-5kg i can no longer do 5x5 of around 2x my bodyweight. so i resort in doing 8 x 5, dropping 10kg each side. i didnt sprain my back before or notice any injuries. is this a sign of my lower back giving up? and i need to do lighter etc.... or my mental is getting weak? i do use lifting belt. ps: i have scoliosis |

QUOTE(bikerzfrenzy @ Jun 21 2017, 04:30 PM) Hi, I hae been training close to 9 months. I manage to lose weight about 13 kg, body fat from 27% to 6%. Get a proper workout structure/plan.Previously I train: 10 reps x 5 sets x 5 exercise x 1 muscle group per day. I train every alternate days. I have difficulties now as my job load only allow me to spend 2-3 days per week for gym. I plan to do: 10 reps x 3 sets x 3 exercise x 2 muscle group per day. Bicep + Tricep Chest + Back Shoulder + Forearm Abs + Leg What do you guys think? |
