pole is crutial one way or another, but its the balance of carrying enough fuel and speed in quali that counts

btw, how is the current quali standard? They fuel up the car to the max, then make the first few cuts until reach the last cut? Then they burn fuel to....ok, I'm confused rclxub.gif

Each circuit differ fuel load.

In Magny, I use 7 (2 laps) of fuel.

ok, but in reality, with 7 litres of fuel...will you even make it into the pits?
Let's imagine the crane "help" carry your car into the pits...
You'll run out of fuel on warm up lap in race day...that's what linkin's trying to explain here

Hey guys, just got my logitech momo today. My lap times actually got 10x worse than using a keyboard laugh.gif Not that im complaining, just havent get used to the steering tongue.gif Btw, do you guys have any good settings for the wheel set? I'm finding it difficult to drive when I have to wrestle the wheel in the straights. It seems to turn left and right and I have to counter it all the time, making me look like a drunk driver swirving left and right laugh.gif Thanks

Cool man! Thanks thumbup.gif. Im now playing with all aids off. Im about 14 sec slower than my best time with a keyboard with traction, stability, and brake control. Gosh its really hard driving without any aid, but hey its really fun tongue.gif

You need the aids on. Its suppose to help you in the game. Because you have the steering, you can switch off brake and steering aid but that's it. Traction control is totally dependent on you. I suggest full TC then change to low or off once you're used to the steering.

Haha, Im still dead slow lar. 14 sec behind the time with driving aids is really bad indeed laugh.gif But its kinda hard to adapt really. I tried with TC low, now im like 4 sec behind my time with those 3 aids. Hmm, no TC really spin alot. Btw, I think real F1 cars got TC right?

you think ar? doh.gif Of coz real F1 cars have TC. TC exist on almost all racing cars.
Try slowly accelerating if you turn TC low or off. Delicate acceleration...Last time I was using a joystick, so I just slowly pushed the stick upwards laugh.gif
After you gain momentum, you can just step on it. Maybe if you watch the next F1 race you'll understand. Sometimes they have the acclerator and brake telemetry on the screen. You can see how much they step on the accelerator when they're taking the corners. Then you compare that to your settings, where you set the accelerator/brake sensitivity, you can see basically the same telemetry there on the left side. Step on the accelerator a little and see the accelerator bar slowly fill up. Same goes with brake.

So, when we will be going to hav another race?
btw, i havent meet u b4, just hope tat all members can attend the race..

1 thing i need to say is, i feel is better to turn off the inverubility, so that all drivers will respect each other in the race. If not, i feels many ppl just 'bang' u off and get the position, so, is not fair...

and sometimes, if another driver try to pass you, if you are not fast enough, then please let them pass rather u using your car 'tail' blocking the way tru..

my 2 cents laa ...
