wait, damage on? Then if I get hit from behind also...eh, no fair la like that.

I recommend this rule for accidents. Drive through penalty for the person who caused it. Like that more fun mar biggrin.gif

edison_84:
your idea tough to implement lar. What if like USGP, Montoya slams into everybody...then how to qualify? Everyone last...huh? blink.gif If got 2 accidents in the previous race, both of them don't get to qualify...then which one of them gets teh "last" place?

I really think drive through penalty is sufficient, or maybe stop/go penalty...
we're talking about penalties if accidents do happen, no point talking about how to overtake properly wink.gif

ya, but which one would you put the furthest behind then? If you and I crash into someone in the previous race (kesian de fella sweat.gif), will I be last the next race or will you? (I hope its not me whistling.gif)

accidents can be avoided.

tell that to Montoya tongue.gif

WAITTT!
what if the fella dc? Or game crash? All DNF? laugh.gif
evohahn, I think we should use the old championship point rules. Up to 6th position that wan. Coz we got so few players....

and yes, I also suggest Friday night race smile.gif 9.30PM? Coz 10PM sometimes got movies laugh.gif

1. Driver championship. Points based on current FIA rules,which means till 8th place
2. Race length - 30 %
3. Qualifying - default.
4. Invulnerability - off
5. Fuel usage - x4
6. Race day - Friday,practice start 8pm so can qualy at 9pm and race at 9.30pm
7. Race schedule - 2004 calender
*
you better check if Raikkonen is able to make it for the 9pm qualifying time...

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Jul 20 2006, 05:22 PM)
well, the main concern is young_soul and Raikkonen. young_soul cant race before 8.30 pm and Raikkonen can only join after 9.30 pm.

woe, how about 30 mins of practice and 30 mins of qualifying? can it be done? i never have any experience hosting a game, so you guys have to fill me in.
*
young_soul - X >= 8.30
Raikkonen - X >= 9.30

err...looks like I can play at 9.30pm too laugh.gif

so that settles it. Qualifying starts at 9.30PM. Half an hour qualifying, if everyone comes and qualify early, we start race early lor smile.gif If you do not make it for the qualifying, automatically push back last place. Just like the rules now if you never post a time, you're last. Is this ok?

btw, I was wondering...are we going to qualify using the race fuel or set an amount of fuel for everyone?

I think hard to implement this idea.
IMHO, amount of fuel in qualification is decide by racer, and after qualification, racer can adjust fuels for race day.

Means? Qualifying will be like the current system? Where they avoid the "kockout"? I tought it would be the one lap qualifying system...coz the game is like that...
