QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Mar 6 2013, 09:46 PM) Awww... I is feeling sad for my 18-105mm liao man haha The zooming is more suitable with sunlight... under dim conditions, its pretty bad when paired with the D90 QUOTE(teetaatee @ Mar 6 2013, 10:00 PM) yealo.. no doubt the kitlens can be use to shoot in daylight & landscape, or long exposure. but if you need good bokeh & fast shutter for portrait, it can't really do the job.. unless paired with flash i guess? |

QUOTE(freddy manson @ Mar 7 2013, 09:26 AM) 50mm f1.8 VS 18-105mm i have bet with a friend and WIN that 105mm does better bokeh when shooting the same subject in the frame (not d same focal length though) that costs him his SB700 to me hahaha yah, i agree with @ifer also, im just happy that i have a camera to shoot with.. sharing moments with the world.. QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Mar 7 2013, 09:50 AM) QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 7 2013, 10:55 AM) beside aperture value, distance of the front subject and background relationships does affect bokeh bokeh of 105mm end of kitlens.go experiment with your kitlens , try use 105mm focal length with fixed widest aperture (f/5.6 right for 105mm?) and shoot the subject with different distance that one i post previously is using 70-300, zoom at 300mm because goose is scary, it can chase your bird bird and bite it away. f/5.6 widest for 300mm for that lens if not mistaken. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Mar 15 2013, 12:25 AM) to save ur ass abit...do the shoot outdoors in nice morning sun...cos afternoon sure rain. indoor but if its indoors, with no good lights, glhf go find a new job QUOTE(Agito666 @ Mar 15 2013, 12:26 AM) that's what i tot.. compact cam can ady ma QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Mar 15 2013, 12:30 AM) Find somewhere with good lighting! Most important of all Ive photographed a group of 100 people before with flash haha my puny flash really can't light everyone Shoot raw ^^ Aperture depends on how many rows are they positioned! You'll definitely do fine with f8-11 sharpest point of most lenses.. if iso is to high due to small aperture no choice but to shoot lower maybe f5.6 Btw dont shoot at the wide end because people do not like distorted pictures Just sharing my experience QUOTE(gerald7 @ Mar 15 2013, 01:27 AM) kit lens is good. As you will be shooting at large f's. I shot 230pax w/o additional lighting in conference hall before. for 20-30 pax, I'd think 5.6-8 would keep everyone sharp. and outdoors would be ur best bet. will be in ballroom all day. i was hoping no group pic is needed.. maybe just some pic of the speaker & important personnel, my bosses & etc. seems like need to use high ISO all the time! or maybe just use my 50mm prime all the way xD |

QUOTE(Sadru @ Mar 16 2013, 10:22 PM) Benro and Jusino eh? Im using manfrotto, mk3-h01 if im not mistaken for the model. will do some checking tomorrow, Drybox.. i still had no idea but i need to buy one definitely @.@ P/s: indoor shots without flash r terrible Keep getting picture that are not sharp, try to trouble shoot so long. End up put the camera into quiet shutter.. Image sharpeness improved afterward.. Luckily is for my boss to do report only.. If not i need find new job d. |
