I'm just curious, what happens when one actually hits the suggested shutter count and noticed the deterioration in terms of shutter performance?
Can just replace some parts and it'll be like new again?
Thanks in advance for the reply  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

change the shutter inside perhaps.. or go upgrade to FF rclxms.gif

Hai gais ! was thinking about the D7100, is the price worth it? and what about comparing it to the D7000, does it have much of a difference?

does the price difference makes D7100 a better bang for buck? or both of them are good at their price range and its okay to go for either one?

asking this on behalf of my friend =)

hope to get some idea on it.

Body only, the D7000 is almost RM1400 cheaper.

RM1400 can get
Tamron 17-50 2.8 which goes for 1198 at Shashinki
Nikon 50 1.4D <1000 OR 35 1.8G <800 + 18-55 kit lens <400

QUOTE(KTCY @ Apr 8 2013, 07:31 AM)
I'd go for d7k and remaining moolah for better lens.
*
thx for the reply =) okay ! will ask him to get the D7k, btw Malaysia warranty and grey set, its okay to get either one right? or for grey set : need to consider the shop's reputation?

I just called up to Nikon Technical support line. Guess what. The dust and oil issue is not recognize by Nikon Malaysia.
Reason : Statement released by Nikon USA / Nikon Europe is not the same region as Nikon Malaysia (which is under Nikon Asia) region

Hmmmm only for lenses it is international warranty but I heard stories nikon malaysia not fulfilling it.. so to play it safe  why dont you just get it here.. 2nd as long af is working no dust n fungus and the afs lenses are silent I guess it is alright smile.gif plus if there's a huge dent you know the lens have been dropped or abuse its an easy tell!
*

Pipus ! i need a event lens for my D7000, found out that during event my 35mm f1.8g cant fullfill everything... eg group shots and such ( group shot time , at first 4 people, then suddenly increase 6 ~ 7 ~ 8 ... ) as i'm using prime 35mm... need to keep move back until ultimately no place already in the carnival area , normal people dont know bout prime lens and the focal range >.< )

so i'm thinking should i go for the 17-50 tamron? or save up str8 go for the 24-70 focal length..

24-70 is for FF, if u are going to upgrade in the future, why not? but 24mm in crop not so wide
best is 17-55mm 2.8 nikkor
17-50mm tammy is worth the money if u have tight budget, wide enuf for group photo
*
17-55 and 17-50 different alot? if so the i think i will save up my budget and get a 17-55 2nd hand, but most people ask to go for 1750 wor, can save money for other things...
yea most prob gonna go FF bah... thats why thinking about buy the 17-50 or don buy, save for 24-70...

QUOTE(razuryza @ Apr 24 2013, 12:58 AM)
ur gearlist already stated 18-105mm. use it

17-50mm im using, got pros and cons
pros
sharp at 2.8
cheap

cons
when shoot at 17mm, right side will blur a little, i also dont know why, might be the lens problem
focusing slow, noisy
plastic build

17-55mm
very good lens, sharp, focusing fast and silent, very nice color quality
but
heavy and costly.. lol
*
hmm.. the IQ presented different a lot? i dont mind the weight thou...
at first tot can use prime lens tru out, mana tau event time so headache @@ or maybe i not good enough using primes @ 35mm blink.gif
