guys, i just want to know

TM gonna come install unifi at my parent's home by noon

do we really need to borne the cost for installation? as in after after drilling and installation inside the house?

afaik, all the cost went to the subsequent bill, right? or need to pay cash the appointed contractor on the spot?
*
standard installation is free of charge (inclusive of up to 15m wiring, additional wiring will be charged in bill)

optional installation (over ceiling wiring etc) is to be dealt/paid direct to contractor

IF i already built a conduit path for outdoor cabling and i told them to use that no charge will be borne?
*
should be fine - no extra charge, unless u ask them to do underground cabling or over the ceiling cabling or the conduit route takes longer route..the best is to discuss with the contractor on whats best/suitable with your premises.

from LTujuh de router
TelekomMalaysia's homebreed lauter
*
its L7 networks of taiwan..and the router internals are similiar to DIR routers..

on the literatures that comes with the router, for technical support, we should contact D-Link..lol

maybe instead of procuring routers from D-Link, TM went and get from L7 directly?

its L7 NR 2000 aka DIR-614
its ok-lah router, but if u have extra $ can try some of the compatible routers from Asus or TP-Link.

but wired is always better smile.gif

Hey guys.

Am in need of help. Firstly, the Internet led on the unifi modem is blinking and the Internet led on the router is lit. However, my laptop says connected to network but no Internet connection.

Is the Internet led on the modem needs to be solid or blinking?

Thanks

solid.

Hi guys
I have frequent disconnection with my d link router - unifi default orange router.
I have been planning to get it changed. Anybody faces the same issue with this router?
I am nt sure whether this is due to the router or something else.

Anybody can give me some advice?

Thanks.
*
since the equipments are under warranty, i'd be calling tm first and let them solve it
perhaps if really router issue, get tm to replace with a new one (L7 router aka DIR-614)
if u dont mind to fork out some $, try replacing it with a compatible router eg Asus RT N13U etc

having said that, the router may not be culprit, so let tm technician come and check 1st IMHO

Hi.
I have actually called them once. Then they replace another new dir 614 for me. Then I realised that the problem still persists.
And every time when I log in to the router setting I realise that it is offline. Then I need to either reconnect it manually or restart the whole system again. Less than 20 mins the same thing happen again. >. <
*
perhaps its not router issue then..get tm tech to fix it.
