QUOTE(lcly @ Apr 25 2013, 10:14 AM) Can you configure the Asus router to output both VLAN 500 and 600 on same port? This way you can perform VLAN trunking and get another switch or router to split them up at your other room. I did that using Mikrotik routers but not sure if can do that on Asus. |

QUOTE(DecaPix @ Apr 27 2013, 12:20 AM) The only reason icly want to use the expensive TL-SL2210WEB is because it can perform vlan trunking, splitting or combining the two vlan 500 & 600.This post has been edited by kimyee73: Apr 27 2013, 07:39 AM |

QUOTE(yushin @ Apr 28 2013, 04:36 PM) My fiber modem, router,PC is at 1st floor; my ps3, media player and iptv is at ground floor. I'm using Mikrotik RB250GS too but on the router side is RB751G to replace stock Unifi router.Since I don't want to hack wall to install new network cable, I bought 2 Vlan capable manage switches and a set of homeplugs that support vlan signal to deliver the signal(VLAN 600 and VLAN 1) from 1st floor to ground floor. Works fine for long time already. The pro VLAN switches allows me to use any router I want. No need to hack wall. All your devices are wired. You can make wireless on seperate vlan for better security. The cons: More device to take care. More $ spend. The cheapest VLAN capable switches costs about rm250. (Microtik RB250GS) |

Hi. I would like to cancel hypptv platinum pack thru occ website but it would not let me and keep asking me to select at least 1 package. Submitted a service request in occ but no reply from unifi thus far. Is there another way to cancel this package? Is there a number I can call? Thanks.

QUOTE(Xefron @ May 30 2013, 02:32 PM) u need to go to TMPoint if u decide to terminate your platinum pack...if go through OCC,u need to replace it with another new package...marketing maaa I called that 1-300-88-1221 and they terminated my platinum pack already. I have another question though. My 2 years contract is not over yet. I understand if I upgrade to VIP10, the contract will start all over again. Does it make any difference if I wait till my contract is over before upgrade? Also is there currently any upgrade promotion like last year speed-up promo? Thanks. |

QUOTE(heavendevil @ Jun 4 2013, 03:50 PM) Your contract won't reset should you upgrade your package, it will just continue on. On the other hand, there'll be penalty if you downgrade before your contract is over. Not true. From Unifi FAQ below. I just wondering if the contract will restart if I upgrade after first contract expired.QUOTE Can the UniFi package be upgraded / downgraded? Customers can upgrade to a higher-priced package at any time (either within contract period or not). However, for downgrades, a fee of RM 200 will be charged (this is subject to change). In the event of an upgrade or downgrade, the contract period shall be renewed and a new 24-month contract will take effect from the upgrade/downgrade completion date. |

QUOTE(andrewsh @ Jun 29 2013, 01:05 PM) I just called and as mentioned above there are 2 options. Better keep your old platinum package as the new platinum package mixture is not as good. They removed all the chinese and sports channels.1. Upgrade to 10M + HyppTV pack either a)platinum, b)ruby or c)Sport, pay only RM199 (RM30 discount) 2. Upgrade to 10M only with RM20 discount. However there is a condition that I cannot accept here. If you are already is a 5M + Platinum subcriber(RM149+RM30). You cannot terminate the Platinum 1 year contract. This means you are not allow to upgrade to option 1 (10M + platinum) and pay RM199. You much upgrade to 10M + either Ruby or Sport + you current existing Platinum package, this end up to RM199+RM30. I find this is very stupid where TM is not able to terminate the Platinum contract and allow the customer to upgrade to 10M+Platinum where you can get additional RM20 revenue. It does not make sense to me to pay extra Ruby or Sport if I do not need it. So I will not take up the promotion. |

QUOTE(Ahn3hn3h @ Jun 30 2013, 01:18 AM) How about those who only got a few months before their contract ends? It's obvious when you upgrade your speed you have to renew your contract again, correct? I have more than 6 months left of contract but did not hesitate to upgrade as the free phone call nationwide is the most important feature to me after internet. Those people have to think twice before accepting it. |

QUOTE(ruffstuff @ Jul 2 2013, 06:47 PM) My Platinum pack contract already ended. But i still able to view the pack, but still paying the RM30 everymonth. If your platinum pack contain chinese and sport channels, pls don't terminate it and upgrade with platinum pack unless you do not watch those channels. The new channel line-up in platinum pack is different from old one ie. without chinese and sports channels.I think i have to terminate the current platinum pack and able to get the promotion upgrade deal. You think so? |
