Someone got me a twin tipped polo from Fred Perry in size M. The chest and waist feel a little to large so I went to the store to see if S would fit better. Turns out S is a little too tight in the chest and the arms/shoulders are just too tight. The arm opening is just too small and my upper arms feel constricted. Are the jump in sizes this big for all FP ranges?

The store personnel told me that all polos are slim fit now, even thought there are no labels.

I kept the M in the end. Hope it will shrink a little after a wash laugh.gif

Try to soak it in hot water. It may help a little.

Thanks. It worked. I used equal parts room temperature water and boiling water. Didn't want to use boiling water on it as I was afraid the colour may come off.
*
Glad to hear that. I normally use the hot water from the shower and soak it over night.

I saw a Fred Perry Long Sleeve Shirt in a outlet store before., the button is without the Fred Perry words.

Anyone see before?
*
Dubious. Avoid at all cost. I am referring to all those "branded clearance" at the concourse area of shopping malls. They carried far too many brands - Burberry, Kenzo (especially those tiger head T-shirts), Givenchy (seriously!), CDG etc.

Btw all my short and long sleeve FP shirts don't have FP wordings on the buttons, in case you want to know.

Fred Perry is having 30% store-wide sale now until today. However, it seems like some of the items have been marked up and cost as much as RM599.00 for one polo tee.
*
Thanks for sharing. Yeap 30% storewide and additional 10% if you are a VIP member.

RM599 should be for those non twin-tipped polo as twin-tipped tends be cheaper.

Yes, some of the twin-tipped ones are priced at RM549. It seems like the prices have gone up because when I bought one twin-tipped last year, the original price was RM479.
*
Thanks for the info. I didn't know it has gone up so high. Weak ringgit against pound sterling.

Cross-posting from My Latest Fashion Haul:

Fred Perry finally brought in the Country shirts (M4600) and I am on the quest to procure the Germany Country shirt for collection.

Comparing with the Germany Country shirt that I procured during the WC2010:

On the left is WC2018 (made in Portugal) whilst on the right is WC2010 (made in England) with green label tag.

Since it is on sales store wide, I am also getting something for the Home Minister - G3125:

Love those reversed buttons design:

Hi Peeloo,

The one I uploaded is the QR code for the original M3600. Those photos were taken from my own FP collection.

Hi attacusatlas,
Thank you for your answer.
Need your help in verifying authenticity for this polo.
Watermark can be seen on this label.

Thx

Hi Peeloo,

I regret to inform you that I don't provide authentication service as counterfeit has been so advanced even the good people at Fred Perry UK would need to have the said article in hand to verify it, not just base on a few photos.

A rule of thumb: only purchase from retail outlets and reputable online stores like fredperry.com, asos.com and endclothing.com. You will get a bargain during sales, so no need to take the risk just to save a few bucks.

Go check out our local FP boutique today. I think there are a lot of polo shirts are on sales, including the Country polos. Good luck in getting your favourite country polos and wear them with pride.

p/s: I am not affiliated to Fred Perry, nor am I a spoke person.

Fred Perry country polo (M4600) - Portugal. I personally find the colour combination is irresistible! And It was on 50% discount. Resistance is futile!

Hi
This t-shirt is very great, I wanted to buy a portugese one too, but it wasn’t in my size
I was on a holiday the last days, so I could check the messages rarely. If my order is arrive I will upload the pictures.

Their shirts are too long for me. Anyone tried cutting the bottom on FP's polo?

I did. Just send to any tailor to shorten it.

4. Fred Perry stripe polo in navy (M2579).
I am cheapskate, this piece is at 50% discount (AND you can claim back VAT at the airport though not much) and it was sold out in Malaysia. So not much reasoning to procure this.
