i checked Tanjung Rhu Resort... OMG... its expensive!!!

nice review, wah5, what about Aseania Resort Langkawi? i saw the rate is bout same as the chalet u recomended. I prefer the hotel room environment. any recomendation with budget less then 150?

i checked the langkawi map... cant find the Malibest beach resort...
i tihink i will go for Langkasuka beach resort... RM170 per person, 2 days 1 night... inclusive of 2 breakfast and 1 dinner...

Emm.. Aseania Resort Langkawi also not bad, It's quite nearby Chenang Beach. If u wan go for it with 150 at Asenia Resort, i think it's impossible cos I think there will be a surcharge in December, mostly likely RM160++...

IF u really wan to go for those less than 150, I think only choice is chalet lor, but Awana Porto Malai genting Langkawi is doing promotion at RM90++ something if not mistaken.

There are even less than RM50 per nite also availble in Langkawi, but don't expect to much cos its too cheap. (got cockroach)

BTW, u didn't tell me how many ppl are going along? wat type of room u wan? Frankly speaking, it's hardly get a room now for reservation cos u are too late for the booking... Good luck anyway...

OF cos u can't find it out cos there was a previous name (forget wat name), now they've changed the name to MALIBEST.

There is quite a number of hidden charges, better read the terms and conditions or call them up.

U can do it by doing online banking wat...Ask their bank account number, then bank in lar. After u bank in then make a phone call to them, do bring ur banking receipt when u reach there.

Congratulations to you for getting the room easily, where is it?
How u guys go there? By plane or train? By plane shud be Air asia rite, if by train shud by KTM one lor. Don't simply get a car fr any agents located at Kuah Jetty. They will ask for deposit fr u then they jus simply change car for u even they don't contact u, so bcareful. Better find their company and rent it. Car rental shud be available around the accomodation area anywhere, do survey urself.

Are ur frens big size? if not then go for kancil lar, save petrol and rental charge. Usually cost u RM45 to RM50, u need to pay deposit for car rental. There is another choice, going for proton iswara also cost RM50 for some shop. Do survey, all are many different kinds of car to be rent, see whether u can affort it or not.
BTW, do check everything is fine to the car which u rent for, safety first. It's not recommended over speeding in nearby Kuah town cos there is sometimes polis setting up block/post especially at nite. Hopefully this will help u..

if u don't no how to swim then no fun staying in Langkawi...

before go 2 lcct, make sure u ate 1st, there only got mcd, asin kitchen n coffee bean, always full, no place....

take bus if wana safe money (go more early, scare bus rosak, later u wil mis ur flight)
i took taxi, cost me RM60 from PJ

i just went there last month, i took the air asia and go holiday package, inclusive of return ari tickets from lcct and a 3D2N stay at bayview hotel

the hotel not bad, 4 star, has a sea view, got ESPN (can watch football, hehe), got many mini markets near the hotel (within walking distance 1 or 2 min) selling many thing, got addidas and nike wholesell shop there as well (cheaper than KL), the famous pasar malam is just 2 street away (wed and sat only), maybank, rhb, bcb and public bank juz around d corner

after you arrive at the langkawi airport, there will be a lot of car rental agents there, many of them will be screaming thier throats to get you attention, i rented a proton wira 1.5 auto, only cost RM70 per day (petrol you pump yourself la)

the hotel is 20 - 25 mins from the airport, the road to citybayview is under construction, so becareful, at night, no street lights, scary

must visit place.... cable car ! just scare its rain there, then you cant see anything up there (near berjaya hotel), the crocodile farm is just 10 min drive... becareful when driving there, many cow there

must do thing at langkawi, go island hopping ! scary a bit but fun....got package, only RM40 per day, 4 -5 hours, they will come hotel pick you up, it normaly start on 9am in the morning

** drink all u can, cheaper than mineral water, haha

can go pan tai have dinner, very nice and romantic place, its in d midle of d jungle (thai restaurant) 10 mins drive from the bird park

underwater world - waste money, nothing to see, except a very big turtle

juz grab a simple map from d langkawi airport, no ned 2 buy map, u wil find ur way, road at langkawi easier than KL a lot, i haven been there also now my way, pakai hantam, haha

black sand beach, sien if its high tight, nothing 2 see.... there got many store selling 3 for RM10 junk food, not bad

marsuri tomb, got a mini musuem and a big tomb, nothing much

duty free shop, there are everywhere.... hehe, nice for non-muslim

night plave 2 have fun - those stalls that near tanjung aru resort, many foreign tourist there

only go 2 see the eagle at night, d lights make it more nice (near ferry jeti)

padi bakar - only got those rice that has been fried till black, nothing much

crocodile farm - ok la, some some pelik croc there, see the schedule at the ticket couter, got mention what time have croc show

cystal factory - under renovation

can play go-cart (near airport), very nice, got fast go-carts and real race track, even got timer to time ur lap, nice....

air hangat - got private room 4 u 2 sock yourself inside those air hangat, very nice, 1 hour rm10 (not sure about d price) very romantic wo..... haha, do what inside no 1 noe, got ancient bakuli game there also

My gf went there before, she also stay at bayview hotel before... not bad also... and she also want to go back to Pulau Pakar oh... really nice ah?? will buy carlsberg as a daily drinks la... hahahahhahaa...

how about night activities? any place to clubbing or hang around?

inside tanjung aru and pelangi gotel got a club, only for their hotel guest, sneak in clearverly, u will have fun, i garantee it !!! dun bring ur gal there, haha

yaya, can go awana porto malai also, sometimes got star cruise there

guys..just wanna ask..because i got surcharge for rent car RM25.00 per day...on 25 and 27/11 (super peak season)..normally rent car also got surcharge?

if let say i buy 1 sheridans... and 1 chivas... how's the extra charges?

that day i bought one bottle of 12 years old chivas, one 18 years old chivas, one johny walker black label, one vsop hennassy and 14 small bottles (include 7 absolut vodka, hehehe)

i put them all my hand luggage...
