I've seen it before. Went to check it out once. It's very very pretty, lots of foreigners and I believe it's about RM400 a night or even more right?

grand beach motel and malibest, any reviews on these two?

I always stay in malibest when I'm in langkawi. Not because the hotel is gorgeous or anything. It's because it's located ON the beach itself which makes it a great way just to chill out. Get a tree top unit, you won't regret it.

1 question ? Can we ferry our car from Kedah to Langkawi ? Appreciate the info.. ^^

Thanks for the reply It's RM770 per night for a seaview room (2 people). Junior suite (fits 3 people) is at RM 1,100 per night. Anyways, I've decided on the Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa resort. For about the same price as a Junior suite in Casa Del Mar, I'll get a Premiere Chalet on Water

It is located @ Pantai Cenang ( next to Pelangi Beach and Spa Resort ) .. This is the second most expensive hotel in Pantai Cenang..
The location is very strategic .. and the staff there is friendly.. Everything is beautiful in this resort.. There is not much room in this place so the staff can concentrate more on your needs here..Can sit by the beach wif a glass of cocktail..

u can ferry your car with rm 150 if i not mistaken.. BUT , u have to wait the next day only u can get your car.. this same when u shipping your car back to mainland..

Can anyone suggest some activies ?
What's in my mind is going to the hilltop thingy with cable car and island hopping.
But I still dunno where they have the island hopping activity..

Look for the sign AB Motel... they are the cheapest RM25/- per head. Its pretty near Malibest...

i survey through the cuti.com.my...looking for holidy villa hotel...the rate is rm338 per person...so if i go 2 person...it will be 600++....can i just booking for 1 person....only 338 per person...and i bring my partner...just stay at my room..with no charge?

bro.. best is just go free n easy.. book a motel. it's much cheaper and you only need the place to sleep.. most of the time you will be touring the island.. why bother staying nice hotel right?

Err . so suggestions to island hopping is look for Malibest ?

how much is malibest's package? when i went about 2 years ago i had island hopping at RM35 per pax..

island hoping is not the best place to visit compare to cable car...
i follow a team to langkawi and both can choose these 2 destination...
im glad i choose cable car, coz those who went island hoping complain about...
they said island hoping is only either pangkor or redang...
cable car...go for it...

I only have 1 confirmed destination that is the cable car place.
Wanna try, some watersports stuff or smth to do with sea.
Jungle trekking/Hill hiking might be considered also.
