hello ppl...just curious whether langkawi is still as popular as before? just wanna make sure so when i go there it's not deserted smile.gif

anyone has gone there recently? please share some info
*
Gosh... you go to a place just because it is popular? rclxub.gif

For me, the more popular.. the more expensive... so it better be less popular I am ok with it.

Hi... I am going to Langkawi next month with 16 people. Thinking of staying at Bella Vista. Anyone tried the hotel?

Any comment appreciated.

What you reply is same for the interior part sad.gif I have been in bella vista for 1 nite during 07 holiday. Hotel are too big for the staff and maintenance are poor. Got leaking in toilet shower and got cockroaches in my room. But in front of the hotel got 1 row of stall or small restaurant serving good seafood and the price are cheap. I forgot edi what name of the restaurant but it Chinese seafood restaurant.

Thanks guys for your valuable inputs. The pictures of the hotel in their website look really good and affordable.

Then which hotel do you recommend? We are all 16 close family members and would like to stay as close as possible. There are 4 young children in the group.

Thanks

Last time I go there, I get Rm80 per person or if you get multiple of 6 or 8, you can rent 1 boat for your group. The price for 1 boat is around 400.

If you want to bring your car to langkawi, go to Kuala kedah jetty. There are few companies that can ship your car to langkawi.. but, it usually take about one day to reach langkawi. RM70 for kancil (one way), others.. you should ask them. Otherwise, just rent a car at langkawi smile.gif

Anyone going to Langkawi tomorrow? See you guys there... hehe.. hopefully the weather holds out...

Info buzz a quickie: Thinking of taking my friends on one island hop from Cenang and another cave hop from Tg Rhu... while I know the cost of Cenang island hop no doubt its freaking commercial, is there any nicer ones? whats the price? that takes you to more places? I will ditch the Pulau Payar trip as it takes too much time this time round..

Dear All,

I will taking Air Asia from KL to Langkawi. Just wondering if you all can recommend any good company at the airport to rent a car (Kancil, Kelisa or Wira)? How much does it cost?

Thanks in advance.

just booked AB motel for 3D2N hols starting from 31st of May 08. Now can anyone tell me how to go to that place? The receptionist tell me that i can board a bus from Pudu to Kuala Perlis, then walk to jetty and board the ferry to Langkawi and then either rent a car or taxi. So, can sum1 tell me what time is the earliest bus from Pudu to Kuala perlis?
