QUOTE(bubb13s @ Oct 13 2008, 11:24 AM) IOI GM once told me, most of their clients are females, so they want to focus on more female related exercises rather than weight training. Yoga aunties are the core he also said to me that this era, ppl are trying to move away from lifting weights. i was like The free weights area of IOI is among the best out of all the FFs. So be thankful I for now is planning to settle down @ TTFC (RM129 with towel service, FF Maxis is giving me RM179.. pfft) - very few people, with squash courts, badminton courts, HUGE shower stalls and nicer members (they seem to know everyone by name...so scary). Pathetic freeweights area (very similiar to FF Uptown) though - hv to be creative I do miss FF IOI though This post has been edited by Syd G: Oct 13 2008, 12:31 PM |

QUOTE(Seng_Kiat @ Oct 16 2009, 05:10 PM) hi guys .. Add RM109 fee. Get platinum membership. If you're a member more than 3 months, you can get platinum just by committing another year. Benefit includes towel service and access to platinum clubs (the curve, bukit tinggi, empire gallery subang) & other stuff (2 weeks DVD rental, discount to FF stuff etc).i might be missed your discussion about platinum membership .. it is 93 pages to read .. it is taking me days to complete reading .. another thing is, how much is personal training costs you? I heard, 10 sessions is about RM950, 20 sessions is about 1.6k .. is that correct? expensive? cheap? Normally, if personal trainer offer you the price as above, can we nego? or is it standard? Ur info is greatly appreciated. Thanks. PT sessions approx RM100/session. Buy more, save more. It's standard price set by FF but you can personally deal with your PT for extra complimentary sessions. Cheap/expensive is relative. If you know what you're doing then its expensive. If you have 0 knowledge and too lazy/scared/not confident to learn on your own then its cheap. |

Current passport fee is RM185/month. My consultant told me that it's a bit more expensive than other gyms to maintain its integrity and club maintenance. Look what happened to California Fitness. FF's biggest advantage is that most of their locations are good and convenient (except for some) so they had to pay a lot more in rent compared to other gyms.

For LM platinum members, no towel service for you until end of 2010. They couldnt get approval to renovate the place, hence no towel counter, hence no towel service.
A bit stupid I must say since I need the towel service for my morning workouts before work - thats why I upgraded to platinum but FF failed me |

QUOTE(Majinity @ May 13 2010, 11:03 AM) How to know if you're already a platinum? I don't remember what I registered for, since I'm not the one who is paying. Haha Check your member card. Mine says LMLPL, it means Leisure Mall, Lifestyle (1 year contract), Platinum.Just asked them, they're closing this fri, sat, sunday. Thus next week on Monday, they'd be Platinum ady. 8th floor, PO3 or PO4 in whatever the building name at the back of Consplant there. |
