manage to get the 3G using the methods mentioned above. Tried yesterday evening at Subang, switch to E then on back 3G, it can auto connect to 3G in about a minute plus. But its not normal still. Now at PJ, E could not auto connect back to 3G. Maxis location problem? or carrier settings problem?

i am in PJ. Edge only. Yesterday at Jalan Ipoh can get 3G.

I've called Maxis SC yesterday and they say they'll ask their technician to investigate and come back to me. But until now still don't have any reply yet...

Bro, Maxis SC also told me like that a month before. Until today, never get any call or reply from them. Don't hope too much. smile.gif

IP5 maxis user here. Tried all sort of methods.

1) On/off airplane mode
2) Reset Network
3) Switch off/on phone
4) Maxis SC refresh nano sim card
5) Take out nano card and insert back

Filed officially complaint to Maxis (technical dept) yesterday noon and night time received a call from technical dept saying IP4, 4s & 5 got issues with 3G connection. Told me they will resolve LATEST BY 8th FEB..
WTF!!

but i think its just a cosmetic bug. try upgrade and then restart again see?

Well, will just have to chase them everyday.

If not, it's just a waste to spend so money on data plan but cannot even enjoy 3G services.

I say so to them also, and ask them whether can waive the plan fees or not where I can't use the 3G...haha...

Owh izzit??.. So it is Maxis problem then and they will rectify until 8 February ??.. What took them so long??

I dont mind if they really can fix this... I need the 3G..however i will drop by At piramid tomorrow to seek explanation from them as well..
