So bro you mean our casing will affect our phone battery life ? Im on MUSUBO casing and wonder if it affect the 3G signal so that indirectly it has an impact on the battery life as well @.@ My iphone if on Wifi, can tahan very long time, but once enable 3G, battery drain like tap water, about 3 min per 1% drop

something aint right. I can use waze driving in the morning/afternoon ( so the screen brightness goes up almost full) with 3g, location services and sometimes bluetooth some ALACs to my car for 30 minutes drive to work drops only around 8-10 percent. Thats y i think apple was right cause if i lessen the brigtness can lessen the drain to around 6 percent for a 30 minute 3g.

the 3g. Did u choose manual network rather than auto??

casings do affect. hence y u see elements casing the top is open. Stay away from all those bumper alu especially.

Your 6% for 30 mins of 3g is a lot !!! mine 30 mins will used up 1o% above

its the same i had ori 16gb two sets at the launch date ( sold one gave another to couz) and now two 64gb (restore from previous) about one is 1 month old and the other around 2 weeks.

yup need the manual thing. when cannot get on the data and 3g. enable airplane mode. Wait for the dismiss thingy. and then disable airplane mode. 100% get back 3g.

whats ure brigtness set at. ah i dont use screen protector btw.

My iPhone is just 1 month old now. Maxis set i set my brightness at auto. Frankly speaking, i never tried to really fully on 3G for whole day, though i will assume it to have very little difference as i only close my 3G for about half and hour for the whole day only.

its charging atm. so 100%. was doing my weekly backup/restore.will post on monday/tuesday etc. weekend phone hardly use lol..other than answer calls. weekend is ipad all the way.

did u do the 8 hours trickle charge when u just got ure phone??

ok brightness.

limit the max auto brightness. i limit my just at 60%. and the min at 10%.

depends i guess since more of a like bright area kind a guy so this suits me. guess those vampires will be min 0 and max maybe 40%.

I didnt charge for 8 hours at my first charge So any more ways to improve my battery life ? BTW, 1 question even though i know it is too early to ask, where can i change my iPhone battery or iPad battery? How much ? Is it i can get it in an hour ?

Wife phone. She uses the phone atleast 3hours a day on phone calls. 3g on 24/7 for whatsapp/facebook. Wifi at home for watching pps. This pic was from her phone before she left to work at 9am.



i5 not so easy to remove afaik. The pcb is latched to the back casing.

Ipad 3 took arnd 150 cycles per year. Iphone shld be higher.
My usage looks like full cycle in 2 days so 365/2. 183 cycles per year. So adding error rate etc make it 200.

Life cycle is 500. So yup should last 2.5 years of continous use.

I suspect its ure notification, n brightness setting.

A friend of mine told me 3g bars effect the bat also. Higher signal good coverage area with less density batter strain less. Not sure there is any merit to this.

Yea, i work in ground floor and the 3G bar is only 2 or max 3 out of 5 @.@
