Quick question,

Is it hard to drive the CRZ Manual? Never own a manual car before or a hybrid..looking into getting one
*
Don't worry, got hill-assist... Well otherwise just like a normal MT, with a good short shifter though.

Clutch a little too soft for me...

after much thought, i think the auto wud suit me better..probably should try it out first tongue.gif

in-terms of power..how does it feel
*
Well, it's a decently powered car for me, it's definitely more go than a plain City/Vios due to the high torque available from low RPM.

And since it is a facelifted CRZ (ZF2), the engine is no longer LEA, but same L15A like the City/Jazz, so even if you run out of battery juice, the engine itself isn't that weak like the LEA, since L15A is using Lo/Hi cam-profile iVtec mechanism, while the original LEA is 12v/16v switch over. This technical details sourced from TOVA (Temple of VTEC Asia, coutersy Wong KN)

I think with 8K rebate they mostly won't give any other freebies, but of course nothing is solid depending on how good you are with your SA. Sadly my previous SA left Honda, now even if I wanted to buy need to look around.

With my 09 FD2 trade in, it should be less burden for me.

Air cond filter just buy yourself out there la, get the carbon one.

P/S: Just realized it really sucks that Honda Malaysia didn't bring in any original Honda Access Accessories.

Plan to buy from Japan during my trip, but the website seems didn't state where to visit.

Checked out a CRZ earlier today. The only bad side about it is the space for back seat. Its pretty much useless for adults.
Really want this car but the back seat thing is bothering me -.-
*
Then I guess CRZ is pretty out of the option if you wanted a "usable" back seat

Guys, sighh, my crz 2013 is having problems after problems..1st, the rattling sound from the back of the car. 2nd, "check emission" indicator came on and now this. Last night, driving the car to BM for dinner under heavily poured rain, after meals decided to head home but i couldn't unlock the car with the remote transmitter. I had to unlock the car manually. When i got into the car, inserted the key into the ignition and turn, the gauges light doesn't come on and car couldn't start. It was like the car was totally dead. Im 100% sure that i've switched off all lights before leaving the car for meals beforehand. Sat in the car for a minute with the key out of the ignition and suddenly the gauges blue light came on, then only i inserted the key in and the car managed to start. What could be the problem now?? Batt problem? or could it be the heavy poured rain water on the road thats causing something to the car? Any of you fellas had this problem? I really appreciate all helps given here. Thanks
*
The 12V Batt connection? Just a wild guess.

Yeah pretty much a 2 seater car haha.
Btw GA Bangi got 18k rebate? Do you have the contact number for the SC or showroom?
EDIT:

Called up GA Bangi showroom and they said no more stock for pre lift.
But got stock for 2013 manual red color and 9k rebate.
*
Shit... Red color only ah? There goes my Polish Metal hope.

I got 9k rebate without haggling. I think the real discount for crz 2013 is actually 10k, and it depends on the SC whether to give full discount or not. You can ask for the discount list to see the real total discount.
*
So you took the Red 6MT from GA Bangi?

Yup, they hav reset the system. As for the batt, they have tighten the batt terminal. Another owner had the exact same problem as mine and the technician found out that the batt terminal was loose, which it's also the same as my car. Got my car from Vivahill Honda Penang, servicing same place. Hope that all the problems has been solved now
*
Then it's all good now.

for me personally .. its worth every single penny that i have paid.. even during my time there was not rebate..

i do travel alone at most of the times.. for for the rear seats it does not worry me much.. as i do not need to ferry my friends for makan time.. instead i ferry with their cars.. haha..  tongue.gif

for now my best FC could be with 38 liters i did travel close to 900kms.. (no mods made then).. with mods.. i still manage to get close to 750kms per full tank.. you only need to manage your right leg to be very gentle..  icon_rolleyes.gif

and if ur a mad car modder.. there's tons of options for you to go with.. SC/TC/or even NA that can push same power as a stage one SC..  brows.gif  brows.gif

Wow bro Jamal, seems like you are already a hyper-miler now since I last met you years ago. Definitely going to learn a bit from you if I get one.

It depends....
If its a manual gearbox, NA engine, you hardly have any problems, definitely not DSG kinda issue. CVT, so far I have not heard any problems from other folks who have them. The only few cases of manual GB problems are for turbo/supercharger cars, and that too are due to user problems (masuk gear without fully depressing clutch etc), and not GB problems. It can be easily solved by rebuilding the GB as parts are available.
My CRZ is rated at 130ps on the wheels, everyday sure bounce off the rev limiter at least once, runs of 18" wheels (Ilyas can testify) and I do hard acceleration. I m still driving it, coming to 2 years now.
The only "kacau" i have is that it still does not have enough power.
*
Wow 130PS on wheel, what you did? Extractor and all?
