With that difference in cost might as well tune it locally and match the RR spec also same right since no difference in outlook  icon_idea.gif
*
Yes technically...

RM119K (MT) + RM12K (Sprintex + Hondata) + RM4K (RCS) + RM5K (I/H/E and Rims)

It's still cheaper lol... But no carbon fibre body, and oh I forgot the seats... But I can live with the stock seats, especially the ZF2.

paint? bodykit?

of course modding outside is always gonna be cheaper than buying from the carmaker  laugh.gif

but if mod outside pls dont put RR sticker. macam pirated  laugh.gif  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Lol original paint I prefer, as I am a detailer. Nothing beats factory paint.

And yes, even now I driving FD I don't put any red emblems or Type R. To me those are really meaningful to the real one.

anyone know if Honda Civic FB the H Logo front & rear emblem size are same with Honda Civic FD or Honda Jazz or Honda insight? I want to buy blue heat logo emblem for my Honda Civic Hybrid . but only Honda Jazz or Honda insight size have stock.

Better buy the whole blue with clear coat one from Japan. (It is just like the Red One, but Honda Japan got it in Blue and Black)

hello

bro you or any crz owner can clarify this

see the engine number for 2013 crz Malaysian

user posted image

asked the SA says that all Honda hybrids have engine number starting with LEA. even 2013 model
*
Not sure what's going in there, but I am pretty sure we are getting the L15A, no matter from paper spec or reports from Wong KN, or you can visit JC Racing, they have dyno-ed both ZF1 and ZF2, ZF2 shows the characteristics of L15A, there is a cam change on 2800RPM. smile.gif

http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%9B%E3%...E3%83%B3#L15A_3

Ok confirmed, the code is still under LEA, but the engine mechanism is not the original LEA running on 12/16v.

if u compare L15a with LEA both engine has the same capacity, same power output...maybe the code is diff coz crz zf2 engine is a hybrid...couple with motor. L15A is normal vtec engine
*
The ZF1 LEA is not running like L15A, thus lower output on engine alone. All power quoted are without IMA assist.

ZF2 LEA got upgraded, or rather have the 12v/16v changed to Hi-Lo cam switching like L15A, hence getting the same power output like L15A. What remain unchanged is the engine code.

The battery itself also upgraded from Ni-MH to Li-ion.

So conclusion is, the engine code still remains LEA for ZF2. But JDM versions have Hi-Lo cam switching like L15A, which is the one we getting. USDM they still getting the old LEA for their ZF2.

Like as seen in the previous post of his engine and chassis number on the facelift, it's shown as zf1 lea. Mines the same as well. So is it still running l15a even though the chassis is stated as zf1?
*
As long as yours if the facelifted ZF2, need not bother the engine code. The mechanism is no longer 12v/16v, but Hi-Lo cam switching like L15A. You may test it yourself, there is a slight kick due to the cam change around 2800RPM (Some people claim it is 3000).

Just take it slow, slowly accelerate pass the RPM so you can feel the difference cause it isn't that wild like the real K20A.

MT is easy, just gear 1 and try. CVT just use your paddle shift.

Bkit i dunno, maybe but not now. The stock ground clearance 150mm is common..some stock sport cars are even lower but i think with modest drop like eibach should be ok..how much did u drop, or your ground clearance?
*
Bodykit, for me I will just go for side skirt, and it is not because of aesthetic. I use it to block road muds/sands etc etc tongue.gif all under or around the skirting... Cars without side skirt I have noticed that those shits will often end up half over doors, making cleaning much more difficult.

After playing a bit of bodykit on my Civic, feeling I should have save the money for better performance mods.

Ignore noise (Well not those rattling noise, those are annoying)... Get a good tire. Safety > Comfort

If comfort is utmost priority, just get yourself a Lexus etc etc.

Got...some sour grapes will claim other cars are better/faster/more practical/attractive than the crz. If you're getting this car you better be prepared to endure/ignore these snide remarks
*
Agreed... there will be many lala modded meevis and alike try to cucuk you and prove to you their cheaper car is faster and superior.

And they claim they are not lala, but your CRZ being stock is lala.

*
Agreed, better rims, better tires, better brakes... Better spend on performance... But of course the money is yours.

Slap in RCS suspension tongue.gif...

And for CVT version, please buy Honda MMF (Multi Matic Fluid Ultra) from Japan instead of using OEM Idemitsu Singapore. The differences are too great. It is about RM220 per 4 litre.

For MT, use Honda MTF-3 Ultra from Japan.

alright! add me in the list. Polished Metal 6MT! laugh.gif

any one of you have the service maintenance parts list btw? like a list of item Honda recommends to change for every service interval?

btw 5k service interval sucks. somemore not using full syn. what kinda modern car doesnt use full syn anymore anyway.
*
Yea, that sucks... Need to request and top up.

Generally, every 5K (Engine oil, Oil Filter, and those washer drain crap)

Every 20K (As above + CVTF (If CVT) + Air Filter + Cabin Filter) Better buy outside, cheaper. And I mentioned earlier, CVT users kindly please use Honda MMF Ultra from Japan instead of OEM Idemitsu Singapore CVTF. Hell lot difference.

Every 40K (As above + Fuel Line + Fuel filter) This will cost you a bomb. And if you wish, MTF also. (Recommend Honda MTF-3 Ultra)

QUOTE(metaloid @ Dec 9 2013, 03:24 PM)
still available? coz i dont see it in the brochure or website..
*
Really? That day I visited showroom they say still available. It is my favorite color to go.

I dunno if the SC allows u to bring ur own parts and if u can top up oil to 10k? Can u request this MMF ultra from honda sc or u have to buy it urself? anyway i still have long way to go for 20km or another 2 years...
*
The SC I used to go I always bring my own transmission fluid from Honda Japan. The MMF you need to buy it yourself, since it is from Honda Japan. It is different grade from normal CVTF sold by HM, can go for 60K as stated on the can, but I always minus 10K from it.

QUOTE(AveoHzq @ Dec 9 2013, 04:19 PM)
20k already need to change CVTF?
Thats like less than a year for me.
*
For normal grade CVTF yes. If you use the HMMF Ultra, 60K.

The HMMF Ultra price is like RM200-220 (depending on shop) per 4 litre.
