QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 28 2013, 03:07 PM) So far I know of only one case back glass cracked supposedly due to temperature change - affected was an editor from Droidlfe. Since he was from Droidlife this issue was spread all over the web. We do not really know the exact circumstances except he claim the " back getting warm from the heat of his hand. Then when he gently placed the phone on his room temperature countertop (I’m assuming the room temperature was quite low), the glass could not bear the sudden drop in temperature, resulting in the rather enormous crack ". This was reported in late Nov Have not read/heard of any new such cases since than He also claimed that similar thing happened to LG Optimus G which he was having it at that moment, together with photo shots of both phones with cracked rear glass.

Did some checking on the thermal throttling issues. Apparently, Optimus G really has a much higher Thermal Throttle at 93C! https://github.com/jonasl/LGE970_ICS_kernel...e/j1/board-j1.c (line 1985-1999) CODE static struct msm_thermal_data msm_thermal_pdata = { .sensor_id = 7, .poll_ms = 1000, #ifdef CONFIG_MACH_LGE //sync with thermald-8064.conf's temperature. actually 60'C is too low to degrate CPU freqency to 918MHz .limit_temp = 93, //later carefully tune it #else .limit_temp = 60, #endif .temp_hysteresis = 10, .limit_freq = 918000, };
By comparison, the default thermal throttle for Nexus 4 is way low at 60C. If you believe your Nexus 4 always slow down due to thermal throttle, you should change the ".limit_temp = 60" to say 75C. I think it is still perfectly safe at 75C.

Zero contract actually got terms and condition. Even if zero contract u nid to use the smart plan for 3 months before terminate it for free. Any termination within the first 3 month will cost an administration fees of rm100. Their zero contract juz means u can terminate the plan anytime without breaking any 'contract' Zero contract simply means there's no contract that bonds u with digi but WITH terms and condition apply.
