I find no difference with Note 2 & S2 stock 'in ear phone'. Shud be the same right?
With PowerAmp is there a need for the app Noozxiode EIZO?
Enable Noozxiode also no diff to the sound. Or is it just me?

i already update kies firmware but why its still show 4.1.1 not 4.1.2?

The ink effect is still available in Monx latest DMA5 rom. Look for it at settings/lockscreen : selct ripple effect and the ink effect is available to choose

It is easier to update your rom using Odin in PC
Download the latest msian firmware from sammobile.com/firmware
Read post 4 on how to do it

KIES is apiece of shittty software - the WORST SYNC software in this planet. Samsung should be ashamed for such a software. It is hopelessly unreliable and erractic. If it works, it works well. If it doesn't you get frustrated over the frequent disconnect. Worse if it gets disconnected and you are in midst halfway updating, your phone gets soft brick
Pray hard and very hard if you still want to use KIES
Don't even bother to try if you are using a Mac OSX system

poweamp own settings will override nooz. so you need to disable poweramp own settings to use nooz.

Note 2 default sound effects is pretty good. No need to use this app. This app more suitable and make a very obvious difference to the Nexus range of tablets/phones
Unless you are a serious audiophile, you wont be able to discern much difference with it on the Note 2

yes ink effects with spen is available but he removed ink effect with finger probably cos its in the simplistic mod.

Sorry no idea at all with Xperia. Anyway I am no audiophile - the default quality is good enough for me. It is at least many times better than the Nexus series and HTC phones

i just want to comment on the batt life of this phone as my day3 of using this phone.

i'm already running 1h 17m without charging, whatapps, fb, download app and etc.. and the batt % still shows 100%!! I must say the batt life of this phone is really really good on stock rom!

i wonder the batt life will stay the same if i flash monx and perseus kernel.. any comment?

Note 2 has the best sound quality compared to other old Samsung phones including S3 lolx... i mean as in play through from the phone speaker itself not headset.

Just a quick question. Im on 4.1.2 with stock rom, nothing flashed or rooted. Say if I want to revert back to 4.1.1, what would be the easiest way to go about it? Would I have to root it to get it back to the previous firmware?
