whenever i check on OTA update, it just keeps on checking

how should i update it to 4.1.2? any ideas?

Erm, but my battery in Settings menu did show my phone was sleeping when my screen was switched off despite data and WiFi were turned on.
However I do believe that it did drain a bit but rather than not syncing anything in background.

I'm not a radio engineer but I think when your wifi connection is ALIVE, the datastream routes via this connection. Your 3G radio is still POWERED though. That is why in the bad old days (before N2 with 3100mah), turning off 3G was the primary way to save power.

I've unintentionally triggered flash count when I flashed DLL7 via PC Odin, and it sticks to 1 no matter countless times I tried with TA 2.6, I guess the new bootloader might be the root of the cause, so got guidance from both @tot31 and @sacremento, I've got it solved with downgrade the boot loader with PC Odin, Flash XXALJ3 4.1.1 Stock, and TA 2.6, I got it everything went back normal and official, lastly just flash DLL7, through Mobile Odin, it'll remain the old bootloader and flash counter will not triggered.

Ya, I'm still happy on my 4.1.2 DLL4. No real point upgrading just for that incremental syiok-ness hahaha

All, general question:

I hang out primarily in this thread, and we all see a prevalence of battery stat displays ("mine is longer than yours" ) started by none other than our famous pro photographer.
