that's not good, try check again all cable connection, at the splitter, before and after modem router. Your SNR just tooo low you got there.

I believe any after market modem router is fine except the one supplied by TM.

ahh... the old streamyx 8mbps, when unifi is having more speeds and benefits, we 8mbps users are going nowhere

i've been tweet to them, email for enquiry but they have responded that TM is not plan to give the current ADSL to any higher, and 8mbps will be the highest. That's really a pity

wow, that's good. Iflix for a year and viu for 3 months. But frankly I am much prefer Kodi to watch the stuffs.

These recent, I feel that my streamyx feel lagged, most of the speed only gained half from the normal I got earlier

I don't know what is happening to my connection, few speedtest done I am getting half from the usual 8mbps. Only somewhere in early morning or midnight I'll get full speed. Someone having similar deterioration like mine?. Never happened to me before.

Free upgrade without additional cost to the bill is much welcome, the recent announcement by TM that some of the users will be upgraded. But the affected streamyx users just around 100k, I believe in KV alone the users exceeded that figure. What about other states outside the KV?

So, the current 8mbps users won't get speed upgrade I guess. Unifi users have more options than the copper community.

I don't see any TM cabling upgrade in my kampung area. There were however about a year a go they laid black cable with yellow strip linking to the cabinet, but what I see it is more to state to state network but not servicing into local residents, apa lagi area kampung.

So unifi is more to nowhere here, vdsl or whatever related to it is still unclear.

Sometime if we ask CS, they don't know much. I got the same reply in twitter, wait for the announcement. I bet being a streamyx user, 100k that is eligible out of the millions, the promotion mostly ended in klang valley itself.

I believe asking the contractor's supervisor who is doing the cabling project is more reliable than asking directly to TM, at least the contractor have the project name and description on their job sheet.

They still very hard to push hypptv and anything as promotion except the speed upgrade.

Unifi users also got the same heart attack surprise as well, hypptv, webe and voucher hehe

I think it is normal as your lower speed didn't happend all the time.
