It doesn't feel weird since you're in front of the computer and you still have those perception of NPC is NPC.

Same here...It's abit confusing in season 2.

my idea bout Plot for season 2.
Shiroe needs to strengthen themselves for the incoming war between adventures from different section.
That is why:
1.) trying to build good relationship with the land of the people so they can be some help when the time comes. (princess)
2.) figure out more about this game. (flavor text, memory lost when revive, etc)
3.)might be explained further later in the show.

At the same time, Shiroe wanted to control the money of the world, hence why the raid is importannt

u know, i can still accept most of the thing in this show, but one thing that bothers me the most as an MMORPG player, is that many Lv90 side character does not dress like they're Lv90. I man, thats one of the most important appeal of any MMORPG genre, the higher your level the more epic your equipment will look. However from what i see so far, aside from tank, they either dress like a merchant, a maid or a mascot. Somehow the thought of that kind of costume gives more stat boost than normal gear really put me out of place

Elder tales is based on everquest, I personally never played the game but looking at the high level equipment on google, it doesnt have the usual high level equipment look like in korean or some western mmo. You know, the thorns and over the top weapon look.

because drawing complicated costumes and insignia abundant weapons will kill the animators =x
