but anime is up for people to watch, for sure it will fetches good critics or complaint. If I watch something really sucks, I will still complaint if is beyond my disliking level. But is it compulsary for me to purchase their merchandise then only I gain the right to complaint ? To me of course not, I have the rights to complaint of course I have the rights to choose whether to purchase your merchandise or not. Simple as that.

Technically speaking, if you didn't stay in Japan, or pay for legal streaming sites, you would have never watched it and hence would be complaining about something you've never watched.

Also, if you think from another perspective, would you still complain about a car you've stolen? You got it for free instead of paying 200k or something for it.

Piracy doesn't even matter. The fact is that Studio DEEN's new style and animation is weaker than the old Satelight's style.

We're here to talk about the anime itself, not about morality and legality of our sources. Which means, only talk about the anime and it's value.

Literature is literature, anime is anime. The analogy about the stolen car doesn't work. In this case... its more like reading a whole book in a bookstore without buying it. The work is there for us to criticize since it is a work of literature/art.

Anyway, the first season went off a great start with the main character, Shiroe. Of course without him, now it felt somewhat lacking the strategy, more onto a bunch of kids trying to solve a puzzle. Each anime also have its up and down, from time to time.

Just like One Piece. Everytime flashback or narrating the bad guy stories, it can go on and on and then somemore. Just have to live with it because thats how the story goes.

Last episode was a filler, though I think an important one. It bridges some gaps in the novel.

Oh well, next episode is the raid conclusion. Then it's Shiroe's turn, judging from the episode list.

Anime adaptation from is very different from MANGA itself. Really hope those OMG-WHY-NOT-SAME-FEEL-AS-MANGA haters can learn how to appreciate its anime adaptation from a different perspective, instead of keep comparing these and that.

Who is comparing with the manga? We're comparing between Season 1 and Season 2. Just search up comparison art like Shiroe's face in Season 1 and 2. Look how different it is. Or Lennesia's face as well as the background art.

Crunchyroll doesn't offer it's full anime services to people outside North America and Europe and people like us need to use VPN. Technically we're still stealing or pirating. I'm generally pointing that it's a different direction (the new studio is taking) and that studio DEEN isn't new for delivering subpar and if you're not paying for it complaining means jack shit. (not that paying would help either.)

It's precisely that this anime series have value for the fans. Of course fans will complain if the value of the series suddenly dropped. It's natural to complain.

People are talking about the direction of the anime as the episodes goes by. After 7 episodes some people will say "Ah, I knew it was going to be bad. Quality really went down" and your logic will be "Did you pay? You can't complain if you didn't pay. Stop talking. Get out." when people are discussing what they think of the anime after 7 episodes in a discussion thread.

The thing here is by your logic, if suddenly episode 10 the whole episode is super weird like the drawing becomes a Kindergarten drawing(crayons and stuff), you guys will be "STOP!! Don't complain. those who read the LN, mind explaining to me why they have to cut the armor power supply at the last minute, instead of cutting it earlier? since he wont be able to tp or get buff if the armor is cut early, why wait?

Lure him to a place that only 1 v 1 with akatsuki while other teammates can prepare to restrain the BOSS from more than 50m distance? Cut the magic supply early still wont cut his stats boost due to vicinity of other players within 50 metres.

Luring him by exploiting his teleportation to the target area is faster than making him walk slowly in heavy armor?
