Maxis don't support PPTP VPN as well, I guess they blocked something I will contact them when I am free

QUOTE(blacktubi @ Mar 12 2013, 11:03 PM) I am burstnet customer, how about you ping 200-280 Burstnet network is not that good. And a little expensive IMO. PhoenixNAP Secured Server have best connectivity and also good latency from here. But i don't find any vps provider with small vps plan hosted with them. Ping 220ms-240ms. Now i'm just using Ramhost TinyVZ USD15/year hosted on Wholesale Internet in Kansas City. Ping 260ms-280ms. Bandwidth provider just Hurricane Electric and Cogent though. But i can push my download speed to the max of the Maxis speed with them.

Time to goodbye to Burst RM4 per month and it's personal server is better than charged over RM20 a month from local vpn provider. You may try this if you want. It's cheaper. O32 32MB RAM + vSwap 2GB RAID10 Disk Space 500GB Bandwidth @ 100Mbps (host node on 2 x 1Gbps) 1 IPv4 + 4 IPv6 Denver/Tampa $8.24/Year with "25VPS" coupon http://serverdragon.com/openvz.phpYou can push max 50Mbps since the vps only can process 50Mbps traffic in and out. (100Mbps/2) ps: I'm not affiliated with them, but they have good review everywhere.

Debian 6 vanilla install only use 5MB-6MB RAM. I just install CSF firewall and OpenVPN and it's just using 14MB RAM with only me connected to it. I'm using Debian 6 64 bit, if using Debian 6 32 bit it will use less RAM. And lastly, OpenVZ virtualization use less RAM because of shared kernel. Ah we're derailing too much.

hi all,
I may be writing in the wrong place. But i figured since everyone here is using the BIZ68 plan, it would be a good place to try. I just got the plan and i've purchased the tp-link MA180 & MR3420 to go along with it. However, I havent been getting a connection. I would occasionally get a connection which is slow and last for a short while before going dead. Is this a compatibility issue? I tried the sim on a phone and it seems fine. I tried the modem & router with a DIGI sim, i could get a stable connection.
Anyone having the same prob and better still able to fix it? Thanks

Retire the bad modem and get a better one. :-) MA180 is a bad modem. Really bad. I believe everyone would tell you the same
