If you read one of the posts made by 'Spongebob' today, he did mention that he's the one who made the report about using VPN with Maxis.
and I'm pretty sure that he also reported about this so called 'illegal cap ayam' biz subscribers. rolleyes.gif

I also can say, I reported. Do you believe it? smile.gif

Well I don't care who actually made the report
As you can see now the outcome does affected all users smile.gif

I would say...give the usable capped speed, not 32kbps or 64kbps

Nobody ever knows if it is because of the reports that cause this issue.
I heard it was due to competitors' complaint to MCMC.
Imagine you are imposing 5GB quota and Maxis gives unlimited.
Tell me, how are you going to survive?

So, we have to learn to view things in a wider and broader perspective.

Now I'm puzzled, do you have any proof that they did make a report?

And why can't other Telcos offer the same unlimited package to compete? Is it coz Maxis has the money to play unlimited game which's othee Telcoc can't afford? hmm.gif

oh yea... maybe 'Spongebob' are indeed a worker from Telco "DG"??

since they have 1 thing in common... both also yellow. biggrin.gif

Anyway, did Maxis reply to us formally why we can't check the quota thru short code?

Yeah that's why I said 'I'm not accusing, I'm just guessing' smile.gif .

If it true that this quota implementation is because of MCMC regulation, well I think there is nothing we can do anymore, right?
Take it or leave it

I know, saw that long ago.
Not sure how much that could impact, but oh well maybe it does.

No, not about affordability.
From the beginning, all wireless broadband plans (regardless, 3G, 4G, mobile Internet or bla bla plan) need to have quota. It is a regulation from MCMC to promote fairness among all users.
So that everyone has a piece of cake.

Every telco did offered undeterred data plan but it is only for corporate customer.

Dealer only offer Maxis corporate for consumer because Maxis got the best network infrastructure

If the revised quota is unreasonable, MCMC would teach Maxis a lesson as well

well, if they really implement the 3gb or 5gb quota to us, can we complaint to upgrade to higher package? wont mind paying higher price as long as the quota is sufficient for those who cant apply for wired broadband.

wah.. from unlimited to 30gb.. wait for customer feedback... if many user complaint then further reduce to 6gb... if no complaint then perhaps might go down to 3gb...
