I have try the above build in MP6. Feel that without vengeance, i wont perma RF and need to run more often. the replacement of MoD with BtT is good it does make monster slow when close to me. seldom use SC yet. later will try it in MP8 and see.

it cost a bomb to change my IC/Nata chest to Nata boot/inna chest for additional -10-12% melee damage. is it worth it???

anyone here bola all the way? my secondary is bola, only use it when low in hatred.

IMO, you can do without vengeance. The cycle is like 20-30 seconds RF & 1-3 seconds grenades. You should be able to spam RF 95% of your time.
For RF build, you should not run as often because the initial RF cost is high. Generally you should stay spamming RF until your hatred drained.
The more you run, the sooner you run out of hatred.
Moreover, with your EHP, you do not need to run, especially you're doing low MP.

SC = smokescreen?
You seldom use smokescreen. I think there are 3 occasions you'll need to use smokescreen, (1) Skip ice bombs (2) To avoid getting charged by the bulls (3) run from 3 stacks of fire+plague
The beauty of smokescreen is, you can keep your snapshotting when you're being attacked by ice bombs/bull's charge.

It is ok to use your existing gears. I can do fine with IC/Nat's cloak too. It's okay.
I just found melee damage reduction gears give me much better survivability, especially when I encounter a pack of mad elite bulls at fields of misery or 2-3 concurrent fatty's explosion at the weeping hollow @ MP10.
(Honestly speaking, I used to ignore melee damage reduction gears. I came to aware the goodness of melee reduction gears since I played Wizard. Wizard's passive skill/blur do give much better survivability for both CM/Archon builds).


I found bola has lower hatred generation. I prefer grenades over bola.
For my current build, I only need 1.5-2 seconds of grenades to have my hatred filled and I spend the next 22-27 seconds spamming RF.
Besides, grenades/gloom combo has excellent tanking capability.

I used to be bola all the way (from PL0 - PL80), paired with spike traps and trail of cinders. it has very good survibility but the killing speed is way too slow.
Now I had switched over to RF and very satisfied with the playing style and killing speed so far.

If you are playing RF, don't use bola, you need to use grenade instead because grenade can regen hatred faster.
The idea for RF build is to standstill RF as much as you can and the primary skill is using to regen hatred only. this is very similar to barb builds, bash to regen fury, and then WW/HOTA all the way.

you may try grenades/tinkerer if you want hatred to be regenerated faster.
when i out of hatred, i will gloom, throw grenades and usually hatred can fill up within 2-4 sec depending on the mobs density and i can RF again before the gloom end.

bro aleune had shared very good experience on the occasion to use smoke screen and hatred management between grenade and RF which is invaluable

bro ALeUNe, do you think the 10% CC from bait the trap will be snapshot in RF as well?

I really hope it does but it doesn't.
Reading from the damage on the screen, with cc, the damage range is 400K-500K. It dropped to 390-450K once BtT wore off.

yeah, lazymode but it can deliver decent damage numbers. let the others tank in-front and you peeing fire from the back

i see, i'm hoping it work too then i no need to spend for RF cc DML.
those decent DML with 7% / 8% RF cc is still expensive

RF build can let DH stand in front n tank. Normally I just put trap n pee on top of myself. This build best team with pull monk.

Tonight will switch bola to grenade n test.

Throwing grenades will generate hatred, even if your grenades hit blank.

Yes, you can tank very well with RF build.
I have to tank any way when I play solo.

Never try grenade before too good to be true, hit blank also can generate hatred. Can't wait to go back home n test it.

BTT is used to proc CtW when channeling RF

I tried grenade but i prefer to farm act 2. Grenade is icky when trying to kill those bees. With bola i could track them shoot few rounds and be on my way when it explodes. Bola/spike can mostly perma stun all day.

Is farming act 1 far better than act 2?

I farm mostly at act 1 FoM. Act 2 only farm at Oasis.
