QUOTE(neo_sharky @ Jan 20 2013, 06:10 AM) yesterday went to samsung shop in ou. their s3/note2 were already on 4.1.2. when tried to update mine, there's a popup saying ' access to the software update service is provided to users in the order in which they request it. try later ' anyone got the same error? My popup says 'The latest updates have already been installed' and is still on 4.1.1.

It will get to all the users maybe in stages. So the lucky ones will get it first. So the answer to your question should be no. This post has been edited by mrvkool: Jan 20 2013, 10:08 AM

Getting Started

|
Hi guys,
To be honest, this is the first time I post in this thread after I bought S3 in October 2012.
I have just rooted my phone yesterday. Then, I realized that my phone will switch off on its own. It happens few times yesterday.
Have anyone encountered such issue when rooting your phone. This is the first time I root my phone FYI.
Or is it because of something else which I do not aware about?

How come when I go to check for update, it stated "your device has been modified, software update not available?"
*no rooting been done on this phone yet.

Mind help to figure what's wrong with my mum's S3. Ps. The pictures below are portrait large. Yesterday, I left the S3 charging around 54% took a screenshot, then left it there. Around 11.00-12.00, my mom take pictures of her lanterns for almost 15 minutes, unplugged from the charger, the battery dropped to 40%... This Morning I wake up took a screenshot it's only 60%. The Charger I've been using for these whole time. USB Cable + Wall Adapter Then I switch over to my brother's charger. Straightly a plug outs. It's a full cable. This Charged 65% afterwards for 15 minutes. This post has been edited by iSean: Jan 20 2013, 11:25 AM

Usually, the problem is the device cant detect AC connection and assume it as USB resulting in slow charging rate for the device but this is not ur problem i believe. Referring to ur drillz up there, i believe ur autosync n multiple background process are running up there n sucking all the juice while charging. turn off auto sync n try to charge for 30mins. if u can get more than 15% for that period, now we found the culprit. if everything comes in vain, turn off the phone and charge it n figure out is it the problem with the battery

QUOTE(amarudin8 @ Jan 20 2013, 03:14 AM) Thanks a lot!!! if my charger is broken and whether it will be replaced with a new one??? It depends on how it was broken. If it is due to human error, it is not covered under the warranty.
