Not to worry. I've got the same message. But it's pretty weird though. There's an update but not everyone can access it. It's really mind boggling.

I just checked sammobile, latest firmware in malaysia is 4.1.1 wor.. R those u saw ap set?

According to nokia6280 , Samsung Malaysia has released the update. It will get to all the users maybe in stages. So the lucky ones will get it first. So the answer to your question should be no.

To be honest, this is the first time I post in this thread after I bought S3 in October 2012.

I have just rooted my phone yesterday. Then, I realized that my phone will switch off on its own. It happens few times yesterday.

Have anyone encountered such issue when rooting your phone. This is the first time I root my phone FYI.

Or is it because of something else which I do not aware about?

Anyone can tell me what is the best price if I want to sell my s3? Only used for 6months and it is 99% perfect condition. It is sme set from digi

How come when I go to check for update, it stated
"your device has been modified, software update not available?"

Mind help to figure what's wrong with my mum's S3.

Yesterday, I left the S3 charging around 54% took a screenshot, then left it there.


Around 11.00-12.00, my mom take pictures of her lanterns for almost 15 minutes,unplugged from the charger, the battery dropped to 40%...

This Morning I wake up took a screenshot it's only 60%.



The Charger I've been using for these whole time. USB Cable + Wall Adapter


Then I switch over to my brother's charger. Straightly a plug outs. It's a full cable. This Charged 65% afterwards for 15 minutes.

Usually, the problem is the device cant detect AC connection and assume it as USB resulting in slow charging rate for the device but this is not ur problem i believe. Referring to ur drillz up there, i believe ur autosync n multiple background process are running up there n sucking all the juice while charging. turn off auto sync n try to charge for 30mins. if u can get more than 15% for that period, now we found the culprit.

if everything comes in vain, turn off the phone and charge it n figure out is it the problem with the battery

It depends on how it was broken. If it is due to human error, it is not covered under the warranty.

Autosync as in Facebook Messages? That one is I just log in not long ago before taking that screen shot.
