Your quota might still be running while Maxis disabled the quota checking functionality. Later enabled back, all sure get quota shock instead of bill shock. Be wary.. just in case

But no more multisims with data sharing right? It's only applicable for corporate packages now?

For me, 30gb will suffice.. and even if I do exceed that limit, maybe throttled to 512kbps would be awesome. If 64kbps, that's unacceptable..

QUOTE(digilife @ Jan 21 2013, 10:12 AM) Exactly! Don't know wadafak is Maxis up to with the 30gb cap throughout all "unlimited" plans. I'm not ostracizing any packages, but I think even if Maxis were to enforce caps on packages, please make it appropriate and do not generalize the pricing points. Else it's a total fakap |

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Jan 21 2013, 10:17 AM) i have no idea why people lump biz68, biz99 (these two in one group) with the legacy 99. (another group) I don't intend to lump them together, I tend to see biz68 on it's own and biz99 & legacy on the other. From my understanding (minus the cap ayam), biz99 was still offering the unlimited data after the withdrawal of the legacy unlimited data plan. To me, biz99 is the same except it's classified under corporate package. I couldn't care less about the influx of cap ayam la, cap ikan, cap itik or whatsoever.. I'm just against the idea of the generic 30gb cap on both price points. Regardless to say, it's 2 years contract or anything, it's still up to the sole discretion of the individual to accept the terms and conditions offered by the company. biz68 still costs less compared to those existing individuals pay RM99 monthly. As for the new signups, you're legit or not, I don't care.i'm not going to beat a dead horse when a certain spongebob did that. LULZ. |

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Jan 21 2013, 10:43 AM) at this point people are qq-ing about why those who paid for 68 get a similar metered cap of those who paid 99. That's the main contention. Otherwise, it would have just reverted to pre-cap drama of "cap ayam vs ori legacy" (which i still find funny but disturbing). Yes, true that. But if the generic cap of 30gb is to remain, I for one, would transfer my line to corporate. I have been offered many times by my company but refused to do so, just in case if there was any difference between the 2 packages (I don't trust Maxis when it comes to ethics). That said, if the situation right now persists.. I don't see a need to remain in the RM99 legacy plan, and might as well hop on the Biz68 bandwagon.i don't see Maxis solving this fiasco easily. They took the easy way out on the unlimited metering, then on the quota check, who knows what next? The only thing I don't and will not want to be is to be, like on some forumer's sake, a white mice to try go against the quota. Though there are rumours of people getting their line and quota back to unlimited (i can't verify, not unless there's proof) i'm not going to speculate. Then again, if i were to continue on the issue of best value of RMxx.yy per 1GB of data (up and down) then it'll be on another thread. Then again, for some of us who are totally dependent on wireless coverage due to no landlines, (in my case i'm stuck to either maxshit / celsucks) then the choice is obvious; to find the best value between the two and squeeze what i can squeeze through. So back to the original question, being metered is not a problem, but being slowed down below 128kbps is a shame. I wouldn't mind taking DiGi's 384kbps EDGE unlimited, at the very least i could still play WoW on that. |

QUOTE(hyperyouth_firepower @ Jan 21 2013, 11:04 AM) that is with the assumption that your company's Biz68 is unmetered, i don't see why not, unless your company practices some sort of data monitoring and blocking. 68 for unlimited for company is a steal. Being in Malaysia, there's no data plan which is unmetered. My company offers corporate packages from both Maxis and Celcom, so I have a choice. Moreover, I will sit out a little longer and see what sorta monkey business Maxis is up to, and then make a decision.then again, assuming we're saying that both offers 30GB data, then 68 is better than 99 if both are paying for the same amount of GB. |

QUOTE(keny1st @ Jan 22 2013, 10:59 AM) they now all are acting innocent.. they doing this to earn more profit... Wanna know why SG has cheaper packages? They're selected as a HUB for Asia, just like Australia or Japan.. Unfortunately Malaysian ISPs were not quick enough in the game thus, Malaysia will always be paying for bandwidth. This is because all our bandwidth are routed to hubs then to the location where you're browsing and vice versa. Get it? Malaysia will always have to pay to Singapore for outgoing traffic.why other country they can unmetered unlimited quota usage? but we cant? actually they can, just they want to earn more.. and our payment bill can subsribed their overseas plan with unlimited usage.. i know we should not compare.. but really unfair for us.. i know someone will said because of malaysia renting a high cost of undersea cable for connection.. but why Singapore can offer those low cost with high speed, high quota usage? it is more affordable for our customer.. singapore is just a small country that next to us. but they can more advance and advance than us.. how about malaysia? its a big country compare to SG, it have alot of resources and people compare to SG. why all acting like a shit? someone will call me to jump country? why i should jump? its because of there gt alot of benefit compare to MY? its my option to stay.. but malaysia should be improve to achieve wawasan 2020.. by the way, until now, wawasan 2020 is still in mist.. hopeless... 7 years more to go.. good luck malaysia.. and those stupid company like maxshit? what they want is just profit. i know its a business.. what i want to say is.. reputation rule the world.. |
