Did you mean Maxis acknowledge that they no longer cap on the quota and only reduce 30% of speed after reaching 30GB quota?
That's a good deal. biggrin.gif
*
That's what she told me.. reduced to 30% of actual speed.. unfortunately, I can't confirm this as I've only used 680mb out of my 30gb so far.. But since CNY is coming, and I'm going back to hometown for a couple of weeks, 30gb might not be enough haha..

P/S: I actually popped a question to her as well.. I asked, if I'm currently getting 20mbps, and what she said was true, I'm supposed to get 6-7mbps after quota limit? She answer yes. If that's true, I don't mind..

6-7Mbps is a good deal actually. smile.gif
If it retains, then it's a good deal for you guys. smile.gif
Not sure if I still can get back the multi-SIM card which I have returned back to the principal line. smile.gif

Can only HOPE it's true la haha tongue.gif
Seeing the trend of different CS different answer, I'm having doubts.. but, if I do exceed the quota, I will update here if there are any changes..

Changed at Maxis CSV.. they said if the SIM is over a year old, will have to pay RM25 (for multi-sim).. prepaid is RM10. If damaged or faulty within the first year, FOC.

Honestly I can't remember when did i subscribed to the value plan 138 + legacy.
I believed it was the time when the package was first launched....Have been on this value 138 plan until now...

I am not thinking of Iphone plan....was thinking of updating an android phone with new plan but keep the legacy.
Is this possible at all?
*
Is yours an iValue plan or the normal Value 50, Value 80 sorta plan?
If you're not on iValue plan, you can still make changes to your call plan while retaining your legacy data plan. For example, if you're currently on Value 50 + Legacy Unlimited Data plan.. you can change to TalkMore48 + Legacy Unlimited Data plan.

That said, if you're using iValue + iData Unlimited, you will need to either change the plan entirely (out of contract), or keep it.

It was this plan that I subsribed to
http://www.maxis.com.my/personal/mobile/pl...pack138_238.asp

The era long before Iphone....that time was still Palm PDA......and NOKIA era
*
So currently are you paying RM138 + RM99? I think you might be able to change it.. best you go to service center to check. This is because my plan was RM80 (Value 80) + RM99, and I've changed to RM48 + RM99.. As long as it's Call Plan + Data Plan.. they're separate..

really? i just took one multi sim last week at maxis center kuantan. able to choose whether want normal size micro size or nano size.
*
Yeah, I checked with them last week and they said I can still take.. so I went yesterday to take.. the guy asked me for sim size and went away for 30 mins. After that, came back and said that he can't register at his boss' room.. and said now need to attach data with new multi-sim albeit my multi-sim was registered since 2010.

then, what's with the sshh post?

he doesn't want other people to go to that center?

p/s : anyone wanna rent my other multi-sim?  laugh.gif
*
If I don't want anyone to go to that specific centre to get MS, I wouldn't have made it so OBVIOUS. It's too far from being cryptic at all.. sometimes I even doubt why you're acting so "smart" when you don't even get the gist of what I'm trying to do. Any tom, d*** and harry knows what I'm trying to say.. but for the norm, if you DO use the search feature to look for something, you will know what this means. People can go get their MS, but not a sudden influx and then when they stop issuing, other peeps would be facing the same thing I did.. going from one place to another. Get it? Good, now go drink ya milk.

I don't need to act tough when it comes to the likes of you. In fact, it doesn't even matter at all. Maxis can curb which service centre they want, not you, not me, not anyone matters. All they need to do is find out which centre is issuing MSes and curb it. Even if you're legit and would wanna get one MS, Maxis still has the right to give you the big NO so, yeah, my point still stands.

Yes they can do that, but they have also rejected applications before. Likewise, not our call, just consider yourself lucky you got it. I don't have a lot of MS, yet I have to go to 3 different centres just to get one. My luck, but at least I don't make an @$$ out of it. Cryptic? Since when? You being perceptive? Maybe
