Without any tweaks , twice my phone can't wake up . Trying still , if 3rd time , going back to redpill .

When I was using perseus 31.2, I got no problems with it, the kernel is smooth, no lag, no reboots, everything was ok. I went back to stock just because I hate to see my status changed to Modified. Overall perseus kernel and stock kernel are much the same. I don't OC or UV so better off with stock.

never swap memory? 10gb enough for you?
*
ya I never swap memory, I don't play those 3D intensive games that consume large amount of space. Only simple games ocassionally. I still have 5GB free space and I add 16GB microsd and that is for all my backups, like firmwares, sms etc.

For those who don't want to do the swap thing, GLtoSD is a good choice, allows the same end result.

Start them young. So I guess he is proficient at flashing and knows his bits and bytes? Ensure he knows the importance of OPEN computing platforms and who owns HIS data.

Next Monday he will be enrolling to Kolej Vokasional majoring in IT. This is a new course set up by the government for young kids. They have to spend 4 yrs for their Diploma and can skip SPM.

Just tried Swiftkey Flow Public Beta, seems nice, I like the height of the keypads. Much better than the stock Samsung Keypad.

You are right. Is for Xperia T and it works very well in Note 2 and my other Nexus 4 too

Actually I have downloaded it but have not yet to install it. Upon checking on the package I could not find Malay language input but it has Chinese input language. Both Samsung keyboard and Swiftkey Flow Beta have support for Malay language.

i unrooted my phone for learning purposes tongue.gif

used triangle away to reset flash counter to 0.
set supersu for full unroot. reboot to download mode and flash stock rom 4.1.2 firmware.
after reboot my phone status is normal but the custom binary count is 1. then tried factory reset. still binary count remains as 1.

how do i get it to 0?...last time i did a factory reset the binary went back to 0.
*
did you wipe everything?just realization that you have flashed the new firmware with the new bootloader. at the moment Triangle Away. can not reset the counter

Will Triangle Away v2.37 remove the Binary Count?
*
I am not sure. some people managed to reset it using that version. by the way, you can try to.downgrade the old bootloader

ic..before unrooting my counter was 2 then i used triangle away and counter resets to 1 but never to 0.

so we'll just have to wait until this is resolve i guess.
*
You can try this,

1. Downgrade to old bootloader.
2. Flash the old 4.1.1 firmware and root it.
3. Install Triangle Away and reset the counter.
4. Install the latest 4.1.2 using Mobile Odin not PC Odin. This is the only way to preserve the old bootloader but having the new firmware. Use EverRoot option to maintain root.
5. Go to Download Mode to check the binary counter and if it is not 0 try to use TA again to reset it.

lol...i already flashed a custom rom. dun think i want to revert back again to stock rom. i was just trying to learn the process in case something wrong happen(hopefully not *touchwood*)

anyway your guide here will be copied to my "note 2 guide notes". thanks smile.gif
*
To each his own. biggrin.gif As I am very satisfy with the stock kernel and rom and I got no other reason to flash to custom roms or kernel, just being rooted is enough for me.
