QUOTE(neo0915 @ Jan 17 2013, 03:42 PM) Thanks for the suggestion... here is the trick for dark flip case. Get a piece of masking tape or double sided tape and tape it on the flip case that covers the proximity sensor. It works with mine. After i hav installed it, only found it doesnt work if the flip case is in dark color... Im using Samsung ori flip case (grey) and it doesnt work for me... Any other suggestion ? Or is it all the app that uses proximity sensor to screen on/off cant detect if the flip case is in dark color ? |

QUOTE(Amanda99 @ Jan 17 2013, 04:56 PM) been thinking of getting either a Samsung Galaxy III or a Note 2....... I always carry my GN2 in my jeans' front pocket. No trouble at all. Not a single regret. Really happy with it. Just one thing bugging me is the size of the Note 2. While it's great for reading and browsing, i will probably need to carry it around in my handbag. Anyone can comfortably carry it in your jeans? i doubt so.... And why is getting a Note 2 better than getting a Galaxy III (apart from the drawing pen)? Did any of you guys regret getting a Note 2 instead of the Galaxy III? Screen size really not much different i think... |

QUOTE(ktgohdt125 @ Jan 18 2013, 10:32 AM) my N2 was sick since update to stock rom 4.1.2 - Battery Draining Syndrome I don't understand why you are having what you called BDS, I'm on stock kernel and rom and rooted and I got no major battery draining. Well it consumes a bit more than 4.1.1 but not that much. I have tried with the perseus kernel too and the battery consumption on both kernels are just the same.Took the Pill from Deadman12 and it fallout & Transform to : » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Welcomed to the Dark-side |

QUOTE(ktgohdt125 @ Jan 18 2013, 11:18 AM) on my 3G plan once quota reach, Maxis will cut off speed, and redirect to the top up page. i need to select "continue without top up value" to continue to surf internet & the speed is not bad... still manage to stream a smooth HD on youtube. I got 0.4%/h on idle.... thanks, yes is for N7105 LTE set. thanks, i wish for more.... i am losing average 6-8% per hour on idle and the rom is still fresh from oven with only basic apps running. after using it a day and can't bare with this BDS, i took the pill... |

QUOTE(Isabell @ Jan 18 2013, 11:23 AM) already did lag??? mine is so smooth, no lag at all....You can try Nova Launcher though. The only thing ADW is my choice rather than Nova Launcher is the random animation effects on the homescreen whereas for Nova you can only use one effect at a time.mine is also ADW Launcher Ex. really quite like it but this problem is bothering me. also, quite lag |

QUOTE(Isabell @ Jan 18 2013, 12:19 PM) great recommendation. Rabbit launcher looks cuteĀ I have tried Launcher 8 and still got no issue like you have mentioned. Yes, it is a bit lag but the latest release seems to be much better though...I always changing launchers in every few weeks, don't like to stuck with one single UI like those crapple phones.... tried launcher 8. same problem with ADW launcher. a little lag and keeps getting back to Touch Wiz. All in one stop about Note II http://grantbarker.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2.html This post has been edited by tot31: Jan 18 2013, 12:23 PM |
