http://www.phonearena.com/news/NubioKite-F...for-413_id38771

The Italians from DaVinci Mobile Technology are now taking preorders for their Nubio Full HD/Kite HD tablet, which boasts a 10.1" display with the respectable 1920x1200 pixels resolution, a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 4412 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage plus a microSD slot, and a 2 MP rear camera. The tablet is also fairly thin at 0.37", and weighs just 19 ounces

Ubuntu's version is 12.04 for ARM processors, and the Wi-Fi version of the Nubio Full HD slate will be going for EUR 309, which is about $413, not shabby at all, and you have to put about 10% down for the preorder.

Gorilla glass is tempered glass, but internally compressed, so it will crack in large slabs as we've seen in many drop tests and that nice info video from Corning.

Personally I don't think that's really going to happen without a generic BIOS as what happened in the Wintel world. However, with innovative people like this DaVinci bunch, we will get some of that sort of thing.

Used to be a diehard iPhone fan since 07. Switched to android in 11 and I love it.
The difference between android and iOS: iOS is like living in a nice hotel. You don't have a lot of choice but it looks nice and easy to use.
Android is like buying your own home. Buy an really nice home (android device) and you will probably love it. You can change and customize it however you want. It's yours! You can also buy cheap.

Easiest Explanation EVER To Explain Root Vs Jailbreak

Think of it like the Matrix: iOS Jailbreaking is comparable to what Morpheus could do. He could bend the rules of the system to overcome certain restrictions, but was still bound to its rules. Rooting is what Neo could do. Not only could he bend the rules, he could completely break them.
===========================
Rooting gives you the keys to the kingdom, to remodel your own home as you please.

Btw i just repeat to watch matrix 1,2,3 recently sweat.gif
Rooting is Neo~but he dead at the end cry.gif

Neo didn't die right? He merged with the Matrix itself right? Cannot remember too clearly.

I recall there was some phone (Motorola Razr?) with a kevlar backplate....can be used for bulletproofing some small critical part of your body haha

Yeah, there is no standardization between the communication of hardware and software, that's why rom from one phone can't be easily moved from others, and that's another reason why i can't run ethernet on note 2 cry.gif cry.gif
except if recompile from kernel, which is something I never done before rclxub.gif
