QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Jan 24 2013, 12:03 AM) I am using winrar, but how ?? can teach ?? you just delete the .md5 extension and it will end up with only .tar. just double click on the .tar file and if winrar can read it, it will extract all the files. if not just download 7z and install and use 7z. with windows I normally use 7z as my main archiving application.

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 24 2013, 12:45 AM) It's using its own recovery from without needing a reboot? Cool eh. Can intro to all the fearful newbies. 2Gb is pretty standard for JB TW roms in Note2. In contrast, my Mediapad JB CM10 rom is only 185mb in size yup really cool...in 5 minutes time kawtim already..
Just copied the backup to my 16GB external microsd..just to be safe... S*IT my counter tripped....just what I suspected.... This post has been edited by tot31: Jan 24 2013, 12:59 AM

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 24 2013, 01:02 AM) Running mine now. Why would your counter trip? Due to loading its own recovery? Yes, seems that this application will install it's own recovery. Counter will trip whenever any custom recovery is flashed. Now in Download Mode my status is Custom and in the system is Modified... This post has been edited by tot31: Jan 24 2013, 01:08 AM

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jan 24 2013, 01:24 AM) Orange Backup ? Looks cool and easy . 2 mins tot31 ? That's pretty fast . Even TWRP takes longer ........ Anyway , just flash a custom ROM for Wave3 . Blardy hell , for those who are scare of using Odin to flash , Bada is worst x 10 times . Not 2 mins but 5 mins only, yeah pretty fast. This app is really cool, don't need to reboot in to recovery mode to do backup. Bada ?? never heard of it. Mind sharing any links for it.

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 24 2013, 01:30 AM) I use TA 2.37, it reset mine. Coz otherwise I can't run my Allshare. Tried after Orange, confirmed counter was 1, Allshare won't work. TA 2.37....works again v2.37 seems to be the magic version. Ok if that is the case I have to downgrade to TA 2.37 then. How about your system status? is it Modified or Normal.

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 24 2013, 01:34 AM) Status is modified. In download mode, the 3rd value is Normal though. In the current TA v2.55 I think, it tries to fool the checker service to revert status to Normal while in the OS, but it only works for a few hours. The current version for TA is 2.60. The trick really works, I had it for several days and the status remains as Normal until I installed the Orange backup.

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jan 24 2013, 01:42 AM) Ya , even flashing Symbian or Meego is not so complicated . And the stupid thing is to install an app , u have to flash it in Even crapple is not so protective . Word is , Samsung is now bringing Tizen into their phone line starting this year to replace Android for most of it's devices . This year there will be Jolla, Firefox OS and Ubuntu Mobile...more choices...

QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Jan 24 2013, 01:45 AM) Just 1 Apps and everything removed ? hahhahaha...it not gone actually, it seems that the settings for TA 2.60 are not remove after I downgraded to 2.37. TA 2.60 will disable SuperSU for 5 mins after a reboot... Orange Backup did not install it's own recovery but a system app called onandroid into system/app folder. what I suspected that could have change the system status to Modified is the Busybox application being detected by the OS. QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 24 2013, 03:38 AM) We were trying out a new backup program. Read the last 2 pages. Everything settled, download mode is Offcial and system status back to Normal. I just flashed the new Thailand MA5 firmware with Mobile Odin to maintain root... With this firmware the yellow tint on my screen is gone..

QUOTE(joytest @ Jan 24 2013, 06:15 AM) That's cool. Was it Normal after the MA5 flash? Or was it some mumbo-jumbo you did before that? I never noticed any yellow tint These are what I did. 1. While on 4.1.2 DLL7 I reset back the counter by using TA 2.37. 2. Open up MOP and flashed MA5 with all the options checked including Wiping data, cache and dalvik cache. 3. After finished flashing and rebooted, straight away went to Google Play to download TA 2.60 and run it and checked on the The System Workaround fix. 4. Rebooted the phone.
