I went to SG last week and saw that one of the shop has it, i do not know whats the price there but my friend has his own console shop selling it for around RM 2k++ with 3 original DVD games.

That's expensive ..just head over to challenger..and some more..u can always chooce your own preferred games....I bought my asian version from there...the rules is:
1) Take the 2nd link
2) Get the backpack that can fit your 360 n all accessories(just 1 bag)
3) just fold the box in plastic bag..u can refold it back once u pass through the custom
4) Do not pass by the custom office during peak hours..just choose an odd hours..preferable weekdays during lunch time..n make sure it is early of the month...to ensure that those people do not despearte looking for kopi money esp at the end of the mnth
5) If u still been taxed.....itr means u r unlucky enuff

Managed to bring in a full set xbox 360+ an extra wireless controller+2 play n charge + wifi adapter+ 3 games an dthe box too as well....

I am also very interested in X360 now. I went to Djinn's shop last Sunday. He told me that Asian version of X360 will be arriving at his shop this week. He said the price around RM1500. Maybe Djinn could clarify more about this?

that depends.. some my supplier said is goign to be expensive then the Japan Set.. some of my supplier ask me to go singapore fi you really want cheap..

either way.. sooner or later.. will take in Xbox 360 asian set.

The Asian version 360 is already available in KL, the ones we saw in 1 Utama. But the price is overbloated at RM2099.

Are you sure you looked at the price tag carefully? That's insane. Better tell everyone not to pay for one at that price

oh that check our gathering thread I posted about it, it was in the G33K shop in 1 U, there were 2 boxes there. Walked past the other day and on ly ONE was left so someone might have got suckered!

I went in and asked, got the same reaction as you had there when i broke the news to the guys at the gathering.

Mmm..which means the 240v power adapter alone cost around RM 700! Man...there's still people out there who thinks we Malaysians dont surf the web.

For that kind of price i rather buy one from Aus..much cheaper

I've just gotten my X-Box 360 Asia version!! Bought it at TNL at a damn good price. Happily playing now. Goodbye LIFE! No more PSP games, DS games and clubbing life for me. Hehe

Machine RM 1500+, 1 extra wireless controller RM 150+, each game RM 155. Bought 6 games. Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo, Dead Or Alive 4, Ridge Racer 6, PGR 3 and Ghost Recon..

Just found out from POP through several online forums that some Japanese and even COD2 NTSC/UC version are not playable on the Asian version of 360....cautios on thinking of buying certain non-Asian games.

that's the part which worries me, s we know on our boxes both the asian and JP units are marked ntsc-j for their region. if COD US works on a jap J unit and not on an asian J unit that would mean checking the region for games just got a whole heck more complicated.

... just hope MS goes like Sony and mandates region free games now...

Think not to worry much...the way i saw from some forums, the Japs r better coz they can play most NTSC/J games...even "apa game tu..macam Dynansty Warriors Japs" arent playable on the Asian 360.
