PSYCHOLOGICAL TRICK USED BY SCAMMERS
Scams target people of all backgrounds. It usually meets your need and desire and it is beyond your expectations of their skillfulness. They are able to orchestrate a drama which appears very real and most believable. They manipulate you by pushing the right buttons to produce an automatic response they want from you as they understand how individuals in society are wired up mentally and emotionally.
It’s useful to know that for them to be more convincing they may show up in person to meet up with you. During the discussion, they will paint a believable picture esp. their legitimate connection with the royalties, the VVIPs and the respective government departments.
They claim they have met many consultants who are their clients and they start to throw in many names.
They appear genuine, very impressive and they use psychology to exploit your vulnerability to get an automatic response again from you without you realizing it esp. your fear of missing out.
They will never fail to entertain your calls at any time of the day or night.
They continue to delicately tell you that this is your last chance or there are only limited opportunities available that can surely lead you to agree hastily before you have had the opportunity to think through your decision.
So much so that eventually you are tricked into parting with your money. After that, they suddenly vanish and are unreachable. This is not a reflection of your gullibility or poor judgment to be influence by the scammer’s strategies but it shows how good the scammers are at manipulating us.
For those who are contemplating to contact these people, perhaps, you should take time to ponder on this question; if someone knew the short cuts to 'easy money and free lunches', why would they spend time telling everyone?
Funny but this posting by Shereen Lim exactly describes Genneva, its directors, mgmt and CONsultants. No prizes for guessing how they know SO MUCH about scammers and scamming!
