i dont think is good idea given that they are above us at the moment  sweat.gif

i'd loan him to stoke though. then he can learn and train to be a brickwall biggrin.gif

Nah, Stoke's play is totally different from us. By sending him there for loan, although he might / will get game time, it will not help his game one bit, as he will come back as a "hoof" type of a footballer, which is not our game play at all. Going to WBA makes sense, Clarke knows Coates from his time with us, and they try to play football from the back rather than just hoof it up the field. Maybe if he gets enough game time, it'll help develop his game as a proper passing defender.

i wonder now when is BR going to make a move for jack wilshere biggrin.gif
*
Bit early to start dreaming isn't it? Plus we don't really need him.

With the rumours going around, we will be playing with false 2, 3, 4, 5, and 9 by lining up with 0 defenders and 0 strikers. 10 in the midfield, that'll be something rclxub.gif

She's great ain't she? Glad you like it, in fact, many commented to me that since I stopped posting regularly here, what they missed most wasn't my input to the discussion, but my avatar!

Always good to know that you contribute to the forum discussion in a positive way  brows.gif

By the way, you lived up to your reputation by that post  sweat.gif
She ain't English if that's what you're talking about.

If you're talking about football, we tried that when Dalglish went out and sign pretty much every British footballer out there, a flawed and expensive affair that we are still trying to rectify.

Sneijder is on decline, maybe...or he's another van der Vaart that need new challenge???
thing is, the whole team don't have anyone anyone who can unlock defenses that he can. How many times have we seen the build u play goes to the final 3rd & then the players struggle to penetrate defenses???Hence the call for him to sign but only on less than 100k/week.
But he's kinda like Kewell, Riquelme type of players...which means luxury players that wont help in defenses & can do pretty much whatever they want in the field. But if he can bring in the final ball...why not. At the very worse it'll be another J cole, wont be Veron type of investment tongue.gif
As for dressing room, kinda have a feeling he's egoistic...but which great footballer don't? Depends on the staff to manage/massage/keep the ego in check.

no la, stoke was just sarcasm. i also dont think he can benefit at stoke. but WBA would be a problem. they are our rivals now, sadly but thats the situation. you dont help your rivals. i think sending him to QPR may make some sense. harry can coach him?

Nope Harry is the last person on earth that should coach him, form what I see, Harry doesn't have much tactical flexibility and is too old fashioned, although he is a fantastic man manager. If Coates is to learn from someone, the likes of Clarke at WBA, or Laudrup at Swansea or Arsene or even Hughton would help his game greatly.

I am not worried about that, as we are not strengthening them but sending one of our young player over to gain some much needed experience to improve. If we are thinking about such little things, then we have no right to compete in Europe as we ain't good enough anyway. On top of that, I truly believe WBA will fade away soon.

My instinct tells me that, if the same thing like last season happen (MC pipping them on the last day to the title), he will retire due to hospitalization. biggrin.gif

Then Roy Keane will take over. thumbup.gif

We will have a real classic English brawl from time to time. But now it's between the managers. hehe. Hope that BR learn some kungfu along the way.

no la.
as everyone knows, LFC does the scouting, Spurs does the buying.
so most likely wilshere will become the new public enemy no.1 next season when he does the short move across tongue.gif

By the way, it's going to be a different Norwich team tomorrow.

Midfielder Alex Tettey is confident Liverpool will see a different Norwich City tomorrow from the team they thrashed at Carrow Road in September.

I agree with Alex. But the thing is, it is going to be a different Liverpool team as well. Hence no more 5-2, but 5-0. LOL tongue.gif
