Size doesn't seem right. Only 21.3GB? Witcher 3 is a bigger game than GTA5 (map size wise), so if GTA5 is nearly 3 times the size then there's something very wrong here.

Texture maps must be quite low-res or CDPR has found a magical compression techniques made by unicorns slurping on rainbows.

mayb bcoz GTA got MP? or as you said, the magic of unicorns.

any report on PC graphic comparison to consoles?

If you have a history of playing expansions/dlcs then you will most likely do the same for this game. As for me, i haven't done this lately and if i did it's usually a few months after release so i'm gonna skip the pass.

The texture maps are substantially lower in resolution than that of GTA5. Nothing to do with MP, because we're still running around the map regardless.

Understandable that CDPR will need to keep the game small enough so that there is virtually no loading times on the consoles. But it's a little surprising for PC because if the game were to be blown up beyond 2k res, it'll look quite muddy.


Did not get a PS4 copy, so nope not this time. I'll be playing this on PC.

One thing to note is that the reviews thus far are based on review code without the day 1 patch (reviewers were given their copies on the 4th week of April btw).
