don't team up against the guy.. if he really is young, he may not know that what he's saying is giving negative impressions.. reply if you have the patience, keep on scrolling if you dont.. no need to get mad at the guy

Hi,
Any MG Zeta Plus A1 fan here? I know it's old..... skoll kit but I'm building it now half way. Pls share your drillzzzzz to motivate me hehehe....

This time I draw the lining first before assembling, much...much...much... easier...
*
Don't have A1 but I do have C1. Biggest gunpla regret ever. I think I must have had a bad mold batch. The panel lines was barely visible on some parts and the hip joint just would not hold together. sad.gif

This is a bit old. But I really dig the runnerless, multicolored, inner frame ready thing they have going on.

I'm not sure about a pink Zeta Plus, but if you mean the MSZ-006-3 Zeta 3 "White Unicorn" then it's very, very hard to find laugh.gif

In my opinion, since you are painting it, go for whatever will be cheaper in total. Somehow I don't think clear parts have a significant weakness in terms of strength over non clear parts.

In my opinion, building an RG is harder than MG because of the tiny tiny parts.

erm... understand the nub part... very time consuming if you want it perfect...  thumbup.gif  what's the average time you spent for 1 MG, 1 week?
*
I have been cleaning the nubs off my MG Hi Nu for about a week now. cry.gif Averaging about 1-2 runner per day. Can only do 1 runner cos after that, feels like giving up gunpla. Haha..
Later, poisoned myself into doing it again.

QUOTE(Vorador @ Feb 20 2013, 11:39 AM)
ok lemme start here:

how many of you guys insist to paint all your gundam?

*
If I really like the kit, I'm usually drawn into painting it. If not, I just do the basics. I'm using spray can though.

QUOTE(Vorador @ Feb 20 2013, 02:18 PM)
Whoa, you cut everything down before assembly? Me usually cut -> nub cleaning -> assembly at the same time. That's why when building Strike Freedom's dragoon almost drives me mad...  sweat.gif
*
Yup. Cut everything, sand, put in those plastic drawers and label them according to runner.
I used to do what you said but then end up having dust everywhere on the kit. This way, after sanding, I clean the workspace and then start assembly. I find it neater. Personal preference I guess.

QUOTE(dopeycheese @ Feb 20 2013, 02:38 PM)
if im not wrong entry level airbrush about 900+ right?  rclxub.gif

No lah. You can get a decent one with everything (spraybooth included) for about that price.

To those using airbrush, what type of paint do you use? Acryllic, enamel, or lacquer?

I find the 1/48 mega size RX78-2 strangely attractive to my wallet. Especially when it's completed with waterslides and RG-like paint scheme.

Strangely enough...i am eyeing for the same kit now!

You're talking about this? I only see the normal 1/48 kit around..not this RG 1:1 GP version..

It's beautiful lust.gif  lust.gif  lust.gif

Yup. I thought the paintjob was, well ... painted but if the color was molded that way, I'm in love with it even more. Gorgeous!
